HOTEL AMANEK Kanazawa

I like that they had a gym that is the reason we book this hotel, but it was only 1 bike, 1 treadmill and 1 bench, at least 2 bikes and 2 treadmills should be necessary we had to come back and check when it was available. Room was ok, and location could have been better. Service was not so great, they were not so nice, very small gym which was the only reason we booked this hotel, it was far from the train station and from the major attractions, and i did not meet my expectations, would not come back to this hotel.

Excellent value, we got a two room suite for half of who we paid in similar hotels. There are free drinks in the lobby, including Matcha, lattes, which my son loved. Rooms were clean, but showed some signs of wear and tear. The hotel frequently hosts, large travel groups that sometimes clog up elevators and other facilities.

New, clean, modern, very comfortable, extremely well located Nothing was negative.

The public bath was amazing

The price was amazing. The hotel was so pretty. I reserved a traditional room with 3 beds, even though it was just my adult daughter and myself. I wanted a bigger room. It was such a pretty room, so glad I booked it. While the location was weird due to the clubs, it was an easy walk to do things. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was good. It was wonderful having so many washer and dryers and I liked being able to see the progress of my was on the site that you can scan and also what was available. Overall, a great stay for our 3 nights in Kanazawa. Location was weird with several clubs right around it. While it didn’t feel unsafe, it just made it seem a little cheap.

Incredible accomodation that is right next to a fun street with all kinds of shops and restaurants. The room was lovely

A spacious stay in Kanazawa. It's also close to a really fun district filled with izakayas and fantastic restaurants, yet the historic sites are still in walking distance. Or, you can easily take the city bus to get to where you need. I loved Kanazawa and my stay here. It was also an excellent value. Nothing

The property was modern, simple, and elegant. It was in a great location and breakfast was delicious. Our only, truly only issue was the parking.

Close to city attractions and included breakfast buffet, which is great with kids. The family suite was two rooms that had a small hallway with a door shutting it off from the main hallway. The kids liked having their “own” room. There were also public onsens- my daughter and I were the only ones there when we used it. There was a mini fridge in the room and they stored our luggage for free until check in. My kids were given gift bags with small slippers, toothbrushes, and body scrubbers at checkin. It’s not on the tourist bus loop. Our room was beginning to show some wear but was still very nice.

It was excellent. The hotel had everything that we needed.

The location was perfect. Easy to walk to various sites. Rooms were quiet. Nicely designed rooms. All was clean. Would always stay there again.

Facilities were fabulous.

Great location close to everything yet quiet. Super comfy, friendly staff, free coffee and iced tea available all day, a small gym, and wonderful Japanese baths available. We also found staff incredibly helpful when we realised we had left an item behind - they promptly organised to forward it to the next town we were staying in. We are so thankful! We will definitely stay here again when we next visit. Nothing. It was perfect.

Nothing to not like

A larger modern western style Hotel. Very comfortable beds and very comfortable room. Great location for exploring kanazawa. A very short walk to walkable streets with restaurants bars and cafes and also to the historical Samurai District. Staff was professional friendly and helpful.

Room was small and cramped.

+ Great onsen + Clean + Large rooms + Large bed + Modern hotel + Very English and tourist friendly - Rough parking situation since the whole area is so central. Either the parking is on the pricey or you need to walk quite a bit.
