No extra pillows, they offered extra towels instead which we didn't use. Bfast was pricey per person so we skipped

Enjoyed the Kanazawa cuisine available to try in their hotel breakfast & my husband enjoyed the black throat seaperch that was in season. It was a short walk to Kanazawa station and to the underground passage across the street when it was raining. We were able to walk to the castle & Omicho market without any problems when the weather was nice. Staff was very helpful when we needed to use the takkyubin to send our luggage back to Tokyo. We hope to come back & stay longer next time!

The location is very central and easy to get to from the train station. They have a very nice Onsen (Japanese Sauna) There aren’t that many restaurants close by, for dinners I had to travel / walk to the more vibrant area. Also there is a weird smell of food / frying I could smell all the way to my room in the 10th floor every morning at 6 AM. Wifi is not great either.

This is the second time in 2 years that we have stayed at Hotel Torifito in Kanazawa. It is a short walk to the JR train station which is the primary way we get around Japan. Hotel Torifito continues to give good value for the money, as well as a very good breakfast selection. I must personally commend the gentleman who seats people at breakfast. He is such a welcoming, pleasant person who does his job so well. His personality is a wonderful fit for his position and the hotel has made a good choice in choosing him for the job. No complaints as all was good.

1)The cleanliness and onsen. 2)Breakfast was good too. 3)Location to sights and train station. 4)Hotel info on TV on use of Washing Machine status (busy or available), onsen crowd etc There was no bottled water in the room. Staff not conversant in English. But these are very minor issues.

Great moderate cost lodging with nice breakfast, comfy rooms, and convenient location. Nothing. Everything was fine and as expected from a Torifito brand hotel.
