My parents and I had an amazing experience staying in authentic Japanese Ryokan. We stayed in a big room for 3 ppl with private bathroom. The room is clean amd well organized, heater works great and staffs are polite and provided great services! The location is the best! A few minutes walk to 7-eleven, 8 minutes to Kanazawa castle then connecting to other places, next to Omicho market, and 6 minutes to Higashi Chaya. They also helped book taxi for us to go back to the train station early morning. Couldn't ask for the better place to stay.

Great location. Attentive and accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast.

The traditional style ryokan was an enjoyable experience with a number of sites within easy walking distance. Breakfast was well presented and filling and always served with a smile. We found the traditional futons a little uncomfortable and felt it was a little expensive given the facilities and compared with hotels in the area.

Breakfast and location are terrific. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, and helped us find an inexpensive place to have dinner when almost everything was closed. Wish we had arranged dinner at the ryokan at least one night.

The location was perfect, an easy walk to the Castle and Kenrokuen, as well as all the major sites. The Japanese breakfast was delicious, the downstairs breakfast room was cheerful. The evening meal, served in the room, was also delicious. The bath was great. It would have been nice to have more of a lounge to sit in and relax downstairs. As a non-Japanese, it’s more relaxing to sit in a chair in the evening.

Friendly staff and great meals! The baths were wonderful too!

Public onsen was honestly wonderful. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Extremely easy to hear other rooms. Beds were pretty firm, even considering sleeping on the floor.

Loved this little ryokan! The staff were lovely and very communicative - I was running late and worried about missing dinner, but they were responsive on booking's chat and it was no problem. The food was incredible too, one of the best spreads I've had in any ryokan. It was also very easy to get here from the train station, and only a couple blocks to the incredible Omicho market. I would definitely stay here again.

The ryoken would benefit from some maintenance work and general tidying up to make it feel more welcoming.
-
Room was nice. Staff was kind and helpful. Even when we had a missunderstanding about the payment status, they were patient and kind. The onsen was pretty nice. Breakfast was not good but not bad either
-
included miso soup and green tea, and offered coffee at end of meal if desired.
-
The staff truly did their best to deliver an amazing experience, the location was perfect and so were the meals. Would definitely come back Nice public bath but the working hours were a bit limited

Allowed us to enjoy ryokan experience at a reasonable price with incredible service. Anything we ‘didn’t like’ was part of the experience and down to cultural differences.

All fine

The staff was kind and very respectful. The food was good. It was very basic. The onsen was small, bathrooms were down the hall.
-
Location was decent tattoo friendly. Beds were very hard for a ryokan standards. Staff was very friendly. Public bath was good The room had ceiling damage from water and it was musty,

It was the real thing. Totally loved the japanese ryokan, onsen and breakfast experience. Staff was sooooo welcoming and eager to show us around. They even bought us presents as it was out honeymoon. Location is really good, super close to Kanazawa castle grounds. Nothing to remark.

This is a typical Japanese Ryon stay. The breakfast is generous and tasty. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. I also really look like the location. It is close to everything you want to see without being too much in the thick of things. having spent nearly a month sleeping on futons, I found the one at this property very thin and hard for a western taste. After two nights my hips were really aching. However this may just be an accumulation.

Very typical ryokan, beautiful experience :) we had also the Japanese dinner and breakfast, very recommended! The staff was super kind and the property is near the centre and major attractions. I would have loved a more detailed description of the food, since it was typical from Kanazawa, but the people speak very few English, so we had to guess by our own and taste.
