Hyatt House Kanazawa

The hotel was conveniently located right next to the train station but was very quiet. There were free drinks offered all day, which was a lovely perk. The room was especially spacious and comfortable and clean

Great stay due to the spaciousness, cleanliness, and design of both our rooms and the public spaces. Plus, breakfast was fantastic. We looked forward to it each morning and enjoyed the many options available of both Japanese and Western dishes. And, oh yes, the location, so near Kanazawa station, made it super easy to get around the city and shop for anything we needed, whether groceries or an evening meal. Having to spend so much time doing laundry because 1) the drying cycle was 2-3 times longer than the washing cycle so one has to wait a considerable amount of time to dry their clean clothing while another must wait to start washing (since the first person's laundry has nowhere to go.) Perhaps more dryers would help?

We loved our room - spacious, quiet, clean, and well equipped with lots of shelves and storage!!! Plus the kitchen was a great asset. For 2 days the coffee machine in the lounge was broken.

The room is so spacious and comfortable for family with small children. It’s equipped with kitchen and utensils.

tin water bottles were provided on the first day with a note to refill in a bid to reduce & reuse which i thought was a good idea -until housekeeping threw away our bottles while we were out without replacing them. There was an option to borrow different types of pillows which I was very happy to try as Japanese pillows never seemed to work well for me, but the receptionists/housekeeping don't seem familiar with the options & ultimately sent the wrong one (Tempur instead of Dacron). When i called housekeeping to check, they had to check what was Dacron (easily googlable) & later told me they don't have it. Receptionist was not very helpful when we tried to find out some recommendations on the first day.

Location and the room. Rooms are very spacious with all the facilities. They have a lounge which has free access to beer, sake, coffee for the guests with a nice cozy seating arrangment Not applicable

Upon arrival, we were told the price for using the H Bar. Later we found out that as Hyatt House guests, we could use the H Bar for free from 11am-8pm. So unfortunately, we didn’t make full use of it. It might’ve been a language miscommunication. The rest of our stay was wonderful. As stated above, the miscommunication by the staff on our arrival. We were not told that as guests that we could use the H Bar for free from 11am-8pm. The next day another staff member explained that the price quoted was for the public.

Excellent facilities; steps away from train station.

It is located right next to the train station, lots of storage in the room, clean and large room for 3 people and kitchenette. Had to pay for the laundry machine in the common area (500 yen), not a big deal, but it could be crowded at times. Would be nice if each room had its own washing machine (particularly for the larger rooms that could accommodate 3 or more people)

The property was very close to the train station making it easy to get to with young children. There was a mall very close by with many shops and restaurants to choose from. Tub was nice and the bathroom clean. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities. Beds were comfortable for all 5 guests. No complaints.

What beautiful new hotel. By far the best place we’ve stayed so far!

Nothing really

Staff knowing that they can tag and transport your luggage. We had to take luggage to Hyatt Centric about 100 meters away, only to find out that Hyatt House can prepare tags for transport. Ugh

Specious Room and very clean and all amenities are available.. the modern style of the hotel is beautiful we were in love with the place.. 10/10 ? Nothing

everything was perfect. the room was big, beds were comfortable ( with additional pillow top), central location. nice design, laundry facilities and free coffee in the morning.

This is a top location since most travelers to Kanazawa will be arriving and leaving by train. Excellent new hotel with loads of food options and shopping at hand. Nice little addition: free sake, beer and wine on tap all day!

The hotel is just fantastic, breakfast is good whether it’s on Hyatt Centric or on the hotel itself. Staff is lovely and helpful. Location is just great near all shopping by malls and the central station. The tax on the printing services from the reception is a bit rude and redundant. Should be a service of the hotel, without any tax.
