Very nice view, well located, friendly host

Peaceful and quiet location and yet close to the city centre. The owners are very nice and friendly people with good knowledge of English and knowledgeable as they have lived here all their lives. Only three rooms in the property so very tranquil. A decent sized room with big bathroom and a small shared kitchen on top floor.

Great location, lovely room and very nice hosts. Easy to get to from the station, a short walk to the lake, useful little shop nearby. A shared kitchen area bit only with 1 other room, not an issue. I would definitely stay there again.

The room itself was clean, nicely furnished, and spacious enough for two people. The location is convenient, with the city nearby, yet the area remains peaceful and quiet. While the house features a lovely balcony with great views, the room has a limited view and does not include a balcony. The wardrobe in the room is locked and cannot be used. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need, but guests are not allowed to use it. Even the fridge is off-limits unless you pay extra, according to the host. As a gesture they let us use it as however, upon opening it, you’ll quickly realize it’s better not to use it, as it is extremely moldy and dirty. The entire kitchen is in desperate need of a deep clean. We stayed in an upstairs room, which was supposed to have a private bathroom. However, you have to go through the kitchen to access the bathroom, which is shared with other guests. The landlady is very strict and seems overly focused on charging for everything—most of our requests were either denied or deemed unavailable. On the other hand, her husband is very kind and helpful.

A lovely house, in a quiet area with birds and monkeys yet in less than 10min walk you are in the city center and the Temple of the Tooth Relic. The owners are friendly and helpful, there is a shared area for tea / coffee and a balcony with a beautiful relaxing view. Perfect after long days visiting the temples or in the busy center of Kandy! The room is nice and big, it is basic but offers everything you need! Nothing to say!

Close to the city centre . Ask the owners to point out the footpath ; you can walk to the centre in 5 minutes. Quiet and secluded. Owners were very lovely Poor ventilation in bathroom made the room damp

We stayed 5 days instead of 3! The house is lovely. The view at night is nice. It is quite compared to the city and close to the city center and the lake !

Perfect location close to downtown, on the hill in quiet area; 2 rooms in the house are in fact independent flat with living room, eating room, 2 bathrooms and big balcony. Hosts are very friendly.

Good location just a short walk from the centre of Kandy. The hosts were really lovely. Was initially a bit tricky to find. They sent us a message with location but we didn't see it because we didn't have data - so make sure you have data or good wifi access before you arrive.
