Everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The location is excellent, and the overall service was of the highest standard. Thank you to the entire BarbaraHof team for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely come back! Nothing at all. Everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out.

The hotel is well maintained, very clean and in a great location ( just across from Kaprun Tauernhof bus stop. Very convenient for people who arrive by train. The front office people are exceptional ( owners!!?) The breakfast person ia also very proactive. Promptly clearing the tables and keeping the breakfast bar stocked. I am a vegetarian and found they had plenty of options. The cleaning person also was very friendly. Overall, this hotel is operated in a hospitable way. With the summer card included this hotel is an exceptional value and would love to stay here again. I wish they had a fan. It was very hot

Big and clean room, great wellness area, well served breakfast. The equipments in the gym are older and don’t work properly. This was the only issue in the hotel.

Location, big rooms, pool, spa, breakfast, view, Beds are too soft for my liking. I get and got back aches. Restaurant a bit too pricy for the quality of the cooking. I had to pay for two for my son‘s room although he was alone. No single occupation lower rate.

- Spacious rooms - Good breakfast - Well equipped sauna - Bus stop right in front of the hotel - Charging 5euros for a small bottle of water from the room (no price list was present)

The spa area was nice. 330 ml water bottles on the desk costs 5 EUR. That’s way more than in any mountain hut in this area. We were surprised to find an invoice for the first night’s bottles on the third morning lying on the breakfast table. When we ask what this receipt was about, the manager/owner said it’s for the water from the minibar. We asked what minibar. Apparently, there’s an empty fridge under the desk that they call minibar. On the inside it has a note with the water’s price, but again: the bottle stood ON the desk and the fridge is completely empty. We asked to get the charges voided, but the manager/owner refused. She suggested to drink tap water going forward. The room costed 430 EUR per night. We also didn’t get the double bed despite that we booked and paid for. Bathroom appliances (hair blower, cups, bin, toilet brush, toilet paper dispenser, etc. were made from very cheap-looking plastic. The toilet paper was like these “plastic” napkins you find sometimes in cheap kiosks or food trucks. These napkins that don’t soak anything. When take a bath and lay down, you can actually see some disgusting mold underneath the shelve. Everything else in this hotel was just average.

I liked a lot super friendly stuff in the hotel and the SPA part particularly - super clean, worked at its best. The room was clean and comfy with a separated toilet from bathroom, which is an added value. Also SKI room was nice big enough and with build in ski boots dryer wall. BUS stop for transportation to and from ski lifts is at the hotel itself. There is great wine card in the hotel too to support dinners. The town itself has plenty of possibilities to grab a nice food and drinks. It is hard to point out anything at this point. All was great. We did not find any issues or challenges at our stay.
