We traveled from Lahore to spend two days at PC Karachi and one day at Khoj Resort as part of our family vacation. We chose Pearl Continental Karachi because we expected the same high standard of comfort and service associated with the Pearl Continental brand. Unfortunately, our very first night was extremely disappointing. The morning shift staff handled the situation professionally and promptly moved us to another room. After the room change, the remainder of our stay was comfortable. We paid for a two night stay, but the first night was completely ruined because the air conditioner in our room was not working. Despite calling the front desk 4-5 times throughout the night, the issue was never resolved. We spent the entire night sweating, were unable to sleep properly, and woke up with headaches. After traveling all the way from Lahore with our family, this was the last thing we expected. Losing an entire night's rest during a short two day vacation significantly affected our overall experience. The first night felt like a complete waste of money. Although the hotel changed our room the following morning, that did not compensate for the discomfort and inconvenience we experienced during the first night. Our confidence in the hotel's service had already been affected, and we even chose to have our meals outside the hotel for the remainder of our stay. What made this even more disappointing is that we have previously stayed at Pearl Continental Rumanza Multan and had an excellent experiences. That positive stays were one of the main reasons I chose Pearl Continental Karachi for this family vacation. Unfortunately, the handling of this issue fell well below the standard I had come to expect from the Pearl Continental brand. Given these circumstances, I believe a refund for the first night's stay, or another appropriate form of compensation, would be a fair resolution. I sincerely hope the management reviews this matter seriously, as no guest should have to lose an entire night of a paid stay because of an unresolved maintenance issue.

House Keeping staff Anand was very nice; Food was delicious and tempting. Receptionist Rubi and Imran was very professional and courteous. Over all experience was very good. Hotel has very old serving material. Specially Dinning Napkins very old and not cleaned. In room dinning Serving Table was miserable and looks like 30 years old. In the Breakfast; Most of tables were not ready, Missing Napkins and basic stuff like Salt and Pepper on Table.

Changed 4 rooms and none of them were cooling. Having a house in karachi but still preffered the hotel to relax but these 3 days were nightmare. The hotel staff did there best but couldnt resolve the issues

Delicious Breakfast with variety of food. We tried Chandni Restaurant; Top view was amazing with live Music. Receptionist Ayman and Imran were professional and provide us excellent quality of service.

Breakfast was good honestly. All the bedsheets and pillow covers were smelly and there were no toothbrush kits in the toilet.

A/C was not working properly

The Food is excellent and staff is really nice, courteous and helpful, the hotel location is central and it is easy to commute from there. It was really warm everywhere , AC not working well, they had to service the room AC at midnight when we checked in. Another problem is that they charge in PKR ! The booking.com rates are in USD. This is perhaps the only hotel which doesnt take payment through booking.com, and requires customers to pay in PKR. And definitely the conversion rates are not good. This system needs to change as it is bothersome and confusing.

Warm rooms, AC is pathetic , issues with payments, they charge in PKR! And charge conversion from USD as they please, which is not fair.

The staff was extremely helpful. I ran into an issue with my booking. And it wasn't showing up on their system and I was getting visibly worried as it was already 3am, Mr. Sharif said "you're our guest now, this is our headache now sir. Handed me a key card and got us escorted to an upgraded Suite room." It wasn't the upgrade that won me over (although that was very nice of them) but the fact that Mr. Sharif and Kamran told us to just get to a room and said our headaches were transferred to PC management, the moment we walked in. Thank you to Miss rubail and Miss Ayman for an expedited checkout too. I sincerely hope PC is taking care of the employees just like they take care of PC's guests. Definitely will be staying in PC EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME TO VISIT KARACHI. Couldn't find a hairclip for my wife in the shops lol. Complimentary breakfast should be served to rooms as well.

Visited Pakistan after 15 years and wandered best choice to stay here. Service is excellent. Staff really work hard to impress you. Over experience is amazing and would definitely stay here again I think it’s little bit pricey with respect to the location
