The staff was always really friendly and helpful. The room was nice, but I wasn't 100% clear that I booked a room that will have all 4 beds inside, because images on the site were a bit confusing. Restaurant is really nice, and has good food, it is convenient to eat there, especially when they bring tables out next to pool.A big plus for this hotel is that the guests can use beach and sunbeds on Kendwa Rocks beach which is nice and close, and very good for Kendwa - so it is almost like this hotel is "beachfront". I think they had some problems with the pool while we were there, so it was emptied out at times, filters didn't work at times - so it was barely usable - but you don't come to Zanzibar for the pool, heh. Also the power cuts are very often, but that doesn't have anything to do with the hotel itself.

The location is also perfect. You can eat at the restaurant that is right in front of the hotel, and there are supermarkets, liquor stores, an ATM, and even a place to charge your phone nearby — all within walking distance. Everything you need is right there. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. I even had a massage there and the massage therapist was very knowledgeable and professional. It was an excellent experience. I truly had a really, really great time at Hotel Kibanda and I can only recommend it to anyone visiting Kendwa. You will feel at home here.

I really loved this hotel. First and foremost the staff are very friendly and made me really comfortable during my stay; the breakfast was really amazing but what stood out for me the most was the hotel worked(secretly) with my best friend that stays in Canada to organize a surprise birthday celebration for me. They set up flowers in my room and made a cake and sang happy birthday with me. Being away from home and not having to spend my birthday by myself meant alot for me. I would definitely stay again. Love this hotel Honestly I have no complaints because even when the driver that was supposed to take me to stone town didn't arrive to pick me up they quickly organized transportation for me.

The location and use of beach chairs at Kendwa Rocks was very good. One of the nicest beaches!! The staff set up beautiful dinner tables around the pool with candles in the evening. The Deluxe Quadruple rooms are lovely and spacious. The serene pool and garden area is a relaxing escape. Friendly staff, especially Mr. Fred, and Merna, make this a stop worth considering. Unfortunately the hotel payment system did not follow what was written on Booking.com. and we spent over 45 minutes upon arrival trying to pay the total by credit card through PayPal only to find out that the room they placed us in was much smaller and without all the amenities that we had reserved which cost us more time to sort out. Apparently their reservation department made an error and there were no Deluxe Quadruple rooms left that matched the photos and Booking.com description. We spent the first of two nights in the smaller room and luckily, after having to spend time packing up, were finally moved into the beautiful Deluxe Quadruple room that we had paid for. Thankfully Booking.com arranged to compensate us with a Wallet Credit.

Clean, well-kept. Nice decor in the pool view rooms Mattress was so firm it hurt my back

Very pleasant and serene hotel, an excellent option for Kendwa Beach, as access to Lendwa Rocks facilities is given - excellent move. The staff were friendly and attentive and the rooms were very interesting and comfortable. Nice bed and nice pool. Reliable aircon and very few mosquitos. The hotel itself is a little old and starting to show its age, but it is not a huge deal and you will be spending most of your time at the beach.

Little oasis just up from the beach. No fault. The restaurant is unfortunately across the road from the generator of a big resort. So when the power goes out, which is regularly, the generator is loud. But no fault of hotel and no impact on rooms or pool area.

Everything Breakfast
-
Calm and secluded but with access to the beach facilities of Kendwa Rocks hotel. Great pool and breakfast Just advice to take cash to pay the balance as the weather affects the card payment machine which can cause delays so staff have instructions to collect payment on check in

Electricity goes out periodically. Bad internet. Beach towels stink. Small area, you have to go to the neighboring beach.

10 points fully represent our staying at natural Kendwa Villa! The food was delicious, The cleaning team was amazing and left lovely messages and decorations with flowers, spaces very well cleaned and free from mosquitos. Cool terrace with a view on the swimming pool. The Wi-Fi was good and all the staff very friendly. Very appreciated the collaboration with the Kendwa rocks hotel: access to the beach in 2 min walking, free Wi-Fi, sunbed and swimming pool. At the same time we enjoyed the relax and the peace of Natural Kendwa! The only thing that could be improved is the bed.. a bit hard in one of the two rooms we booked, but the overall experience was excellent!

Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful pool area, fantastic breakfast and great location 5 mins walk to beach. Once on the beach you are able to use Kendwa Rocks facilities. This is a real bonus as it includes their sun loungers and umbrellas directly on the beach.
