Baymont by Wyndham Kennesaw

Nothing went well at all there was nothing that I liked at all. The hotel was filthy. The hallway to our room had crumbs all over it with millions of ants. The bathroom had beard shavings all over the floor from a previous stay. The floor of the room was sticky and gross to walk on. One of the rooms we had did not have any hot water. The breakfast was supposed to have hot food but there was a sign saying they could not provide hot food that morning. Also, the pool was closed, and they had a sign about that as well. When I told the front desk clerk about our stay and the filth, she said she would leave a note for management, but nothing would be done because the housekeepers didn't care and they were all quitting in 5 days. I was in total shock of the lack of professionalism.

Room door was falling off the hinges, and you had to tilt it up when you wanted to shut. Had to pull harder than you should to open it. We picked this hotel as it stated they had hot breakfast; they did not the morning we left. Not clean under the couch.

Was clean, bed was comfortable, AC worked great, front staff and cleaning staff, both were super friendly and Great. I will definitely stay here again. Everything was fine.

I would not book here or recommend for anyone else to. The hotel hallway and stairs were very dirty, stained and odorous. The hotel room was in poor condition. Needs updates and cleaned. The hotel room door that we had was very difficult to close fully and latch/lock. It did not feel safe. The AC was not working properly. My family did not feel safe or clean enough to stay here. We did not unpack our luggage. We did not take off our shoes. We checked out in less than 40 min of being there. Hotel front desk was made aware. I did ask for a printed check out receipt to show the time that we left and was told that they couldn't do that. The next day I received a checkout email receipt with inaccurate information. I have had hotels.com help to resolve this issue and this hotel has ignored two phone calls and an email from hotels.com so far. So I would add that the hotel has not been helpful in any of this situation either. I waited to write my review in hopes of being able to say that the property at least made it right. But they have not, as of 10 days later.

Layout was good Smelled like mildew, room was not what I expected by pictures at booking. Had to get pillows and blankets for pull out bed. Couch mattress had mold stains. One outlet and a light switch didn’t work. Bathroom door did not close very well.

This hotel was good for the price. It is dated, but priced fairly. We were there for several nights and housekeeping came by daily to offer fresh towels, wash cloths, and bath mats. The pool was out of order the entire trip, which was a bummer. Overall it was as expected for this price point.

Good but some items ran out early TV remote did not work even after notifying the front desk

Room and hotel were outdated. Photos do not do it justice. Paint was missing from walls, putty on the walls without paint. Dirty wash cloth that didn’t look like it was washed and put back on the shelf. Ceiling above shower looked molded and gross. Carpet in the stairwell smell and was run down.

AC was good, but people smoking outside some of that smell would come in through the AC. Breakfast was not good.

Waited for a long time, several minutes to check in with people ahead of us, maybe more than 10 minutes. When my wife and grandson and I got into the room: Awful, we saw pop like stains on the wall. The mattress looked suspicious as having blood smudges. Hair and crumbs or something all over the sofa cover… we left couldn’t stay there. Impossible to call the manager the next day to get a refund. Tried to cancel or next stop at the baymont Jackson Tennessee location and could not get a call through. Never again.

Area was great, breakfast served, favorite fast food Taco Bell next door, The checkin is too late. Instead of 3pm it should be 1pm and check out needs to be later like 12N
