Sarah is a great hostess. Nothing is too much trouble and her local knowledge is faultless. The breakfast has to be seen to be believed. Definitely a full tank for a day on the fells. Nothing.

We arrived after motorcycling across from York on one of the hottest days of the year and were warmly welcomed by Sarah with a cup of tea. The house is beautiful and has amazing views from every window. It’s only 20 minutes walk into town too. The Breakfast was amazing, the service was top notch too. Nothing too much trouble. Nothing to improve on.

Very friendly host, parking right outside. Bus stop 555 right outside. Wonderful breakfast selected by menu cards (great idea). Keswick is beautiful. Everything was perfect.

It was very convenient for the town. Our room was quite dark.

Location was good as it was outside the centre of Keswick which made getting about the lakes area easier. The centre of Keswick was close enough to walk to for evening meals. Sarah was very helpful.

My husband and I had a lovely time at Claremont House, where we stayed for a few days on our honeymoon. Sarah was a really warm and friendly host, and made us feel right at home, serving us coffee and some scones on arrival, and giving us a load of recommendations for what to do in the local area. The location was good too, with the town being a 20 min walk or a short bus journey away (the bus stop is right outside the property). The breakfast was really delicious and fresh too. We would definitely stay again if we return to the Lake District. We had a lovely time.
