Stayed here to be able to get to Kirkwall Airport; bus stops at the sister hotel. Good location for people arriving by ferry. Had a wonderful Indian dinner around the corner at Dil Se. The Shore is now part of the Kirkwall Hotel. No staff at the Shore. Seems highly overpriced.

A very convenient location near the ferry terminal (about 1.5 miles) and not too far from the airport. For arriving on the ferry at a late hour, the public bus transport to the hotel was great. The bedding is high quality something I really appreciated as so many hotels are not. The room is very small, and they need more shelf space for things like the teapot and other. The sink tended to clog.

Locality to Kirkwall town although I arrived late at night. Room was above a laundry. Dryers running at 5.30. Very noisy. Window blinds don’t fit in windows very well. Bathroom extractor fan incredibly noisy.

Room was well appointed and very clean. Beds were comfortable. We would happily stay again. Close to shops and eateries. Everyone was very friendly.

Breakfast didn’t have because it was to expensive Room was satisfactory Didn’t have dinner there The housekeeping was unacceptable as our room was only cleaned once in the five nights we were there.one excuse was they couldn’t find the room key, another was that it was to late in the day for the staff to do it.

Location good and staff pleasant Hot water Very noisy room. Thought people from upstairs were in the room or going to come through the ceiling. Couple stains on bedding and silicone in shower a bit dirty. Extractor fan didn't work.

The location was just right. The room was small, but clean and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were great. It is an annexe of the Kirkwall Hotel. Access and corridors are very dated but clean. Did not enjoy the breakfast but there was lots of it.

Breakfast is at the Kirkwall hotel and was good. Location is really good, by the shops, restaurants and harbour.
