The room was lovely and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts were really friendly, and catered to our needs. Breakfast had a wide variety of things to eat, and was set up really nicely. Lovely location too, the view outside our window was stunning.

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed out. I arrived a bit late, after a long walk. I was tired, sweaty and probably looked a wee bit scruffy. The owner welcomed me with a smile and warmth. She was absolutely lovely. The room was the nicest room I’ve been in for ages. Clean and classy. The attention to detail was amazing. I’d definitely recommend this place. The breakfast was great. But really it’s the lady that runs the place that makes it so nice,just goods vibes.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Kirkwall, Orkney. We arrived quite late and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was immaculate with everything we needed. Nice little touches like a mini fridge with fresh milk & a glass bottle of chilled water. Bathrobes & slippers, Iron & Ironing board. Breakfast was freshly cooked with quality ingredients including homemade Tattie Scones, and delicious coffee. Would definitely recommend staying at Heatherlea, it is close to the town centre and has lots of useful information. 10/10 :) Nothing to not like.

Facilities were superb far exceeded expectations. Breakfast again superb. Debbie was a delight and couldn't have been more helpful in making the stay very welcoming.

Heatherlea is ideally situated in Kirkwall; easy walking to all the local attractions. It was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Debbie is a fabulous host and clearly has a great deal of experience in the hospitality trade. She saved us by helping to book us onto another ferry when ours was cancelled. We plan to stay again in the future. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

We came late off the boat and coming to the Heatherlea was remarkable calming. For me there was nothing to really dislike about it
