Hotel was very comfortable, room was big, very good bed and spacious bathroom. Staff was friendly. Check-in time is very short although the girl waited us around 10 minutes, otherwise i dont know if we gonna make it.

Our stay at Guinea Fowl Lodge was the absolute highlight of our trip. The owners and his girlfriend are the loveliest couple you’ll ever meet—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We spent hours chatting with them; they truly make you feel like a friend rather than just a guest. What’s even more impressive is that the owner renovated the entire house himself! The craftsmanship and design are incredible; every corner of the house is beautiful and thoughtfully done. For families, this place is a dream—they were so kind to our little one, and there’s a huge selection of board games that kept us entertained. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the breakfast spread was fresh, generous, and delicious. We can’t recommend this place enough!

There's nothing not to like here. Beautiful views, gorgeous property, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable rooms, drinking water in your room, big fluffy towels, pool, covered parking, warm common space very welcoming, owners and staff, fantastic breakfast and great location. Nada, Zero

We very warmly and cordially welcomed by Mandy who showed us around the property and gave us restaurant recommendations. The B&B itself is a true gem. Settled on the hill with outstanding views that you can enjoy while having a good hearty breakfast. Or, like us, book room number 9, a bedroom with Terrasse where you can lie in bed and overlook the town due to a balcony door. You can reach grocery stores and restaurants by foot; safe during the day. At night we took an uber back from the waterfront for 50 Rand. WiFi was great. Nothing

Alles war “super,” Great 2 night stay; great hosts and we enjoyed swapping travel stories with the multi-lingual Lukas. Breakfast was great; tips on places to explore while in Knysna were spot-on and exactly the types if things we wanted to see/do. Nothing, all good. Alles war gut!

The hosts were very hospitable, views breathtaking, breakfast was good. Love the location. Would recommend. Shower floor-although contemporary- may be a slip risk, proposed anti-slip mats (hosts promised to invest).

The breakfast options were refreshing from the normal standard breakfasts offered. Tasty too! Added bonus was the beautiful view of the Kynsna Heads from the dinning area.

Mart and Pete were very welcoming, helping with local knowledge of what to see in Knysna on my short time frame. I forgot my phone cable and went back to get it, only to discover two Thick-Knee chicks sitting next to the bushes on the drive-way, which were a delight to see because of my mistake. The accomodation is quiet, and very comfortable, with an amazing view from the private balcony terrace attached to my room. That my stay wasn't longer!
