Minimalistic excellence. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Cute old little wooden bungalows which look renovated inside. Everything was spotlessly clean. Nice furnished private balcony outside the room, DSA I really liked that the table there was in normal height and not this low coffee table style. The bungalows have a decent space between them unlike many other places around which are cramming them in. The staff are efficient and speak excellent English. The WiFi was excellent and reliable. Good location right in the busy part of town, but set back from the road, so it's very quiet. The location on maps.me was a little wrong, and there are no signs. The location is at the end of the lane where Keraton hostel is, and check in is at the reception of Keraton hostel....first there you see the sign for Weekender Bungalow.

Partially open walls, you can't talk in normal volume inside your bungalow, without your neighbour complains. Only cold water in shower

good location to beach, didnt have any bugs or anything, bathroom was fine.

The location is perfect, and you cannot find a cheaper place to stay. I loved waking up to the sound of birds and being able to have breakfast on my private terrace. Very peaceful. There is a main common area, and a kitchen for you to use so you can save money. And you can walk everywhere. I was surprised it was so quiet and lovely. If I were a backpacker looking for a long term stay, this place is an excellent choice. Plus it is so much cheaper than hostel dorm rooms- you get your own little tiny house with a lovely balcony. Nothing really because I loved the bungalow and the incredibly cheap price, plus it was a cute bungalow and quiet even though 1 min from the main beach road. * Just note, several reviews here mention the photos are not of Weekender Bungalow. That is true. This listing on Agoda shows photos of a nearby beachfront property with the similar name (The Weekender), is a much more expensive property (and stunningly beautiful, with 4 gorgeous pools). So yes, you will see other reviews mention a few of the photos are deceiving. But really, I liked Weekender Bungalows. You cannot get accommodations during high season for $15, and the fan bungalow was hot during the day but not bad at night. I will stay here again.

Super low price, surprisingly quiet, perfect location. Not a dorm room hostel- you get your own private little bungalow with a terrace and private bathroom. Well...you will share with geckos maybe but otherwise private ?. Yes I agree with other reviews here, the photos are actually of a different (much more expensive) property across the street, (The Weekender Resort) which has a pool and luxury facilities, so it is misleading... but I really did like it, the price is unbeatable at $15 in high season, I loved how quiet it is while 1 minute from the noisy main beach road, and I will be back again soon.

First of all everybody was scaring us when we read threw the revieuws. But its a very nice place to stay and really cheap as well. The room is tiny but nice and the shower is a bit creepy but they made sure no animals can come in witch is nice. Take the one with the van! Otherwise its really hot. But a nice place to stay for 4/5 days!!

I loved all of it. Nice environment, pleasing attitude, relaxed approach. Thank U!

A cute, little cottage style room with private bathroom. Bed was a little hard for me, but staff were quick to add a topper to my mattress to make it more to my liking. The staff were excellent and went over and above to make my stay comfortable. Note: no air-conditioning in bungalows, but large powerful fan was more than adequate.

Perfect location. Lovely staff. Comfortable bed and pillows! Had a really good night sleep. Cabin didn’t get too hot. Toilet wasn’t completely closed off to outdoors so had to keep door shut so bugs didn’t come in. Walls and floor boards to cabin were thin. Any complaints are expected due to price paid.

basic but cheap and clean no hot water

Good location for Lamai, walking distance for food. Staff really helpful, printed our visas for us, welcoming and helping with bags. Clean, good value for money. Only stayed one night so was perfect for the stopover, had all the basics, bit noisy outside.
