Prana Resort Nandana

The hotel staff are some of the most genuinely kind and accomodating staff we've ever encountered, which contributed greatly to the overll experience. We stayed at both parts of the hotel with two different room styles (one that has the pool access, and another with a small private pool on the other side of the hotel. We loved both of them for different reasons. The hotel also have an extensive and really good food menu, with some great service as well. Would recommend 100% and would love to come back!! Only thing I think can improve is renovating the pool access rooms to match the same vibe of the newer rooms, but they were also great nonetheless.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is located in a peaceful part of the island, with a 7-Eleven and several great restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient. We especially loved the pool, and the entire property had a calm, relaxing atmosphere that made our stay even more enjoyable. cleaning service needs to improve

Great part of island specially for families who want to be a little away from hustle and bustle of Chaweng area. Less than 10 minute taxi drive to fisherman’s market and night life. Great new facility and zero edge pool across the main facility and hotel private for Prana. Good quality food and amazing breakfast included in the package. The main hotel rooms need a little bit of upgrade but overall it was all clean and great for one week stay

This hotel is absolutely stunning — truly a place that makes you feel like you’re on vacation from the very first moment. We were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink and such a warm, genuine smile. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional: kind, attentive, professional, and always alert to every small detail and request. You really feel cared for here. The breakfast was outstanding — honestly one of the best and most varied hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced. There’s a huge selection of food, including an omelet station, local soup stations, hot dishes, and even options suitable for children. Coffee is freshly made to order, and there are freshly squeezed juices as well. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The room itself was very spacious and thoughtfully designed. It included a comfortable seating area, plenty of space for luggage, and a smart layout with the shower and toilet separated from the sink area, which made everything very convenient. One of the most touching moments was when the staff decorated our room so beautifully with flowers and balloons — such a personal and heartwarming gesture that made our stay even more special. The hotel also has its own beach club, which is beautifully designed and perfectly complements the relaxed, vacation atmosphere. It’s an ideal place to unwind, enjoy the sea, and spend a peaceful day by the water. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely love to come back. Possible downside: The hotel is located in a more distant, less central area, so there are fewer dining options within walking distance, and you usually need to take a taxi to get around. That said, we truly felt it was absolutely worth it. The hotel offers excellent value for money, and the quality of the experience, service, and facilities more than makes up for the location.

Hotel staff were top class. Genuinely friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The hotel facilitated a cab, a motorbike we rented out, maps, etc. Nothing major. All was great.

The beachside location for our room met expectations When we had an issue with the lighting situation in the room they were unable to successfully fix the issue.

The resort is absolutely beautiful, eco-friendly, clean and has a wonderful friendly staff. The rooms are very very comfortable and the resort is very peaceful. The breakfast is also great with plenty of vegetarian options. There were bed bugs in one of the beds but the staff promptly took care of it. Also the no change/cancellation policy makes changes during your holiday difficult. We would have liked more flexibility.

Everything about our stay exceeded all expectations. The staff were fabulous and nothing but helpful and lovely. The breakfast was always exceptional. The room was lovely and clean and well presented. We were first greeted with a lovely cold cloth and a drink. A five minute scooter ride away is a great little spot (Fisherman's Village) for shopping and dining (on the beach if you like). Scooter hire for the time we were there was organised by the resort for us. Could not have been easier. Everything was perfect.

Staff were amazing. Hotel met all expectations. Husband felt food portions were small, but I disagreed. It could get noisy at times (mainly due to next door).

Some of the staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — their service was the highlight of our stay. First, let’s start with the deception: the hotel is advertised as a beachfront resort, and all the images on Booking.com support that. What they don’t clearly say is that the resort is actually divided into two separate hotels – one beachfront building with only a few rooms, and another across a busy road, where most guests (like myself) are placed. The restaurant and pools shown in the photos are located only on the beachfront side, while the building we stayed in had completely different, lower-quality facilities – with no direct beach access. This crucial detail is hidden under the “Important Information” section – something I, and I’m sure many others, never read. When we arrived and mentioned that we had booked a beachfront resort, the staff immediately pulled up the listing and pointed to that small section, almost as if they were used to handling this exact complaint. It felt rehearsed, intentional, and manipulative. The room itself was in terrible condition – everything was old, rusty, falling apart, and covered in mold, which is clearly a health hazard. The door lock made constant noise, the rooms were dark, and while there was a window, opening the curtains meant anyone walking by could see directly inside, leaving zero privacy. The breakfast was very disappointing – not fresh, barely any variety, and many items had clearly been sitting out too long and lost their taste. The only positive was that the staff at the restaurant were kind and welcoming, but it doesn’t make up for the overall experience. Also, note carefully: many reviews point out that the service and facilities at the beachfront building are much better than at the other one, which is a serious issue of inequality and misleading expectations. And here’s the most alarming part: after I posted my initial review, the hotel threatened me with legal action and pressured me to delete it.

Prana Resort was amazing! The staff were absolutely incredible and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. You can walk a short distance to a 7/11 store for anything you may need. The Tropikana Beach Bar, on the beach side, has amazing food and cocktails. Our villa was on the beach side, so we had to cross a busy road to get to reception or breakfast but there was a man there stopping traffic to help cross the road. He seemed to be there from early morning to late at night. I would definitely recommend Prana Resort to anyone looking to stay on Koh Samui. Nothing
