Breakfast was good, our first time to experience authentic japanese food, staffs were extra nice and accomodating. None, everything was perfect.

We stayed at the room with a private hot spring bath. The room is comfortable and complimentary drinks (wine, beer and juice, various types of drinks) and snakes are provided. The meals were served in the room. Also the location is good, a walking distance to the arima onsen triangle station. And the free shuttle is provided to bus or train stations all the time if you don’t want to walk. I will come back. Nothing. But if there is a massage chair will be even better.

Two meals we had there were exceptional. Served in our room. Service was excellent too. We did pay quite a bit for what we got. But it was worth it. I enjoyed the hotel (ryokan) stay so much that ran out of time to see the downtown area.

Excellent hospitality! Amazing cuisine! Complement drinks from fridge! Wide selection of drip coffee and tea! In room onsen bath

The onsen, the garden grounds. The old school service. The newly redone tatami mat rooms, the real hinoki bath tub, the new rice paper screens, the ikebana arrangements in the room. The lighting in the room was very cold, light the shifts towards the blue white range. I would suggest putting a Warmer coloured light in the led slots.

Very clean and nice service that you can expect from Japan. Open air bath is awesome. The room is new and modern. The breakfast is very delicious.

Excellent meals (dinner, breakfast, and afternoon snack) Very warm and helpful room attendant - wonderful service. Although she did not speak fluent English, she definitely tried her best and we both used Google translate pretty effectively Room was mix of modern and traditional, very beautiful (rooms in the East Wing have been recently renovated) Onsen facilities nice - particularly enjoyed the outdoor bath Nice indoor bath in the room Walking distance from town Door to the toilet was sensor-operated and a bit finicky to get to stay closed/locked
