A good hotel for a budget holiday!

The lift only worked at certain hours, so had to use the stairs. Problem when you have knee issues

Good location, friendly and helpful staff:) price good. Rooms are vintage looking. The walls and furniture are a bit old, but if you like that, then it might work perfectly for youZ

Bed, TV and the shower. All next to the centre. What else would you want?

Would not give me milk for breakfast No plugs in the washbasin

Staff were friendly I booked this place and was moved to the Yarden, across the street (same hotel different name) without prior warning. Changed rooms because neighbours were loud and the shower didn’t work properly. I was put into a tiny room that didn’t have hot water. Was awoken at 5am with someone doing work in the hotel. It’s being renovated and basically a construction site. Not worth the price and the walk to the old town is around 15mins one way.

Amazing place, location and staff
-
Location is great, there is everything needed in the room. The staff were really nice, they helped with the baggage and guided to the room. The room has poor sound isolation, but they provided earplugs

Bog room, excellent decoration, friendly staff and superb location! A little fridge and more sockets would be helpful.

Polite hotel staff, the room was clean and cosy. Location is excellent. I like very much that they have preserved and emphasised the historicity of the building. The doors are beautiful and antique. Lovely but not as a front door. At night light from the corridor came in from large gaps at the top and bottom of the doors. Of course and the audibility is high. That's the only thing not really liked.

Reception located at the opposite side of the street, inner yard can be noisy at early morning. In order to get there it's required to open four doors (reminds me Fort Boyard). The furniture & TV were rather old. Pillows needs to be replaced!
