Dizzy Daisy Hostel

Affordable and in a great location. It is near the Krakow city center, but on a relatively quiet street. The staff are nice and helpful, and overall I like the atmosphere. The WIFI was a bit iffy at times.

Not too long a walk to the main train station or old town. Comfortable enough, quiet enough. Friendly staff, and a safe luggage storage room.

Towels are not provided — you have to bring your own. Worth knowing before you arrive

The staff were friendly, and the location is very convenient. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean both the room and the bathroom were. I didn’t experience any inconvenience sharing the bathroom and kitchen because, in my case, they were shared only with the guests in the neighboring room (one bathroom for two rooms). And the best part — the peace and quiet ? Thank you! ?? Everything was good

The floor was too noisy

Very clean and clean and spacious. Guests there were respectful and the smaller groups were social. Staff was exactly what they needed to be aside from a cleaning crew who couldn't stop muttering curses to themselves. Wifi couldn't cut it for work in the common space. I couldn't even get gmail to load up at some points. You can't book here if you need to work online. One of the beds in our room was duct taped all over and squeaky like it was on the verge of breaking.

Only stuff

The hostel is clean. The staff are professional unsympathetic robots who follow all policies Only stay at this hostel if you don’t value peace and at the same time don’t value socializing. Also don’t stay here if you value WiFi - they have a bunch of WiFi extenders and none of them work well. The only place to get WiFi good enough for a remote meeting is at the sofa at the reception desk, where guests will keep coming in and scream-talking with Reception during your meeting. The common room is empty every evening. It doesn’t matter- the guests here don’t really have a reason to talk to each other anyway. From 8am onward the cleaning starts, which means nonstop banging against your door for some reason. On my last day at 08:10 in the morning guests started a literal concert in the courtyard. Quiet hours end at 6am officially, so why not. If you get a private double room, the courtyard is directly next to your window, 30 centimeters away. Checkout is strictly at 10am. I had the double room for 3 days, but they wouldn’t let me check out 1 hour later. The laundry washer-dryer doesn’t dry clothes well, so people leave their clothes spinning for 3-6 hours. You’ll never get to use the laundry machine.

The property was clean and close to the center. The lady at the reception was very nice and accommodating. There was a nice breakfast spot like 4 minutes walk from the property. There’s a washer and dryer if you want to do laundry. The kitchen area was clean and close to stores to grab groceries. The pillows and the bed were not the best. I woke up with neck and back pain. The TV was hard to operate as the language was in their local language so didn’t get to use it.

Nice location , good kitchen and common area. Has a good homie vibe The walls in the private rooms are paper thin you can hear everything. At 8am someone was drilling from the building and woke everyone up. They should wait until checkout time. More importantly, there is an asian guy who looks homeless who looks like he lives there cooking FRIED CHEAP SEAFOOD ALL DAY AND NIGHT. Infecting the whole hostel of the smell. I could even smell it from the 4th floor. When he is not frying smelly fish he is occupying the whole sofa ALL DAY and night. He gives a terrible image of the Hostel when you arrive and smell that smell and see a homeless person there laying in the sofa barefoot. People can’t enjoy the common area because of him. He alone is making the hostel lose clients.

I stayed in a twin room one night and in a 4 bed dorm on another and both were wonderfully comfy. The staff was very helpful. The twin room was a bit smaller for 2 people but for the price, I am mooore than happy. but thats also not to say that the experience was influenced just by the reasonable pricing. The place was actually nice, the bathrooms were spotless, kitchen was spacious and so clean and the common areas were huge. I absolutely liked everything about it and if I go to Krakow again, I will most definitely stay here without a second thought.

The kitchen is ofc great and the location I really chose this hostel because of the reviews, but it was so disappointing and I don’t quite understand why people give it such high ratings compared to reality. The bed itself is so uncomfortable, and even the slightest movement makes a lot of noise, which is so irritating when there are 10 people in a small room. If the person above you moves, you shake with them (which is also a nightmare). If someone comes in at 1–2 am while you’re sleeping, you literally wake up because of all the noise and the shakiness of the whole bed above you and your bed as well. Also, the floor is the same—it makes a lot of creaking noise when a person walks, very old type of floor and bed in 2026. And the worst part is the wifi—it sucks!! I don’t really know about the other rooms they have since I’ve only been to the dorms (but it was so disappointing). I also didn’t realize it was a mixed room (so you will be mixed with older, middle-aged people, like 6–7 of them) sooo uncomfortable!! I didn’t realize it because before Krakow I had been in Budapest—it was only female and very clean (and cheaper than this hostel). But Dizzy Daisy is sooo disappointing! I don’t know whether all hostels mostly have mixed rooms in Krakow, but still…? Why mix young girls with middle-aged 7–8 men? (They snore like crazy, sleeping at night was impossible and they also smell like crazy) ? Anyway, I hope some people read a review like mine because all the other reviews feel like they are hyping this hostel… (idk maybe they were really comfortable and liked it, but not me). Consider this was only my experience, so… good luck everyone.

I would definitely stay here again if I return to Krakow. I stayed in 4 bed dorm for a night and in a twin room for a night and both were very clean, including the bathrooms, kitchen and common areas. Kitchen is fully equipped and quite spacious. There is a free luggage room and I could the common area even after the checkout which was super convenient. Heating was Okish in the rooms as the building is old but I had prepared accordingly as I had read some other reviews about it. There was a separate kitchen for my dorm area as well so it was extremely convenient. It was just outside the dorm, so it didn’t disturb anyone and was very accessible at the same time. The staff was very helpful and always cheerful. Internet was OKish. I didnt work, so I dont know really how strong it is. Would be good to have a few sharp knives of different sizes in the kitchen. In the dorm, one bathroom was shared for 5-8 people I guess and that wasnt very convenient. I could easily manage because I get up early but I did get busy afterwards.

Amazing place, I sincerely recommend it for a family stay. We stayed for 4 nights, and it was super-comfortable: - great location (we walked 15 min to the old city, through a beautiful park) - the room was quite big, with a nice kitchen, washroom and everything needed There was no iron, and it was not always available on reception. Just make sure you have your own with you (if you need one)
