The position, the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness. Maybe switch off the air conditioning when outside is cold… any small step in favour of the environment is appreciated.

Great value for money, amazing shower power and space. A bit dated but characterful and reflected in the price. Better mattresses might be a thing to do.

The room was quiet and comfortable but there was no fridge. Breakfast was good. The hotel was in a good location just south of the old town. There was no fridge in the room, which wasn't a problem for us but might be for others.
-
Breakfast Bathtub was not suitable to also be a shower, if you showered the bathroom for all wet

Big rooms, great views, balcony, air con, quiet, handy for shops. Door between bedrooms didn’t close properly. Not much hot food offered at breakfast.

Kambarys 602. Ir nors ir yra wifi- iki 6 a. “Netraukia”

The staff spoke great English, always helpful and friendly. I'm not sure if this is normal in Poland, but the water temperature in the shower keeps changing. Sometimes it will go very hot or very cold randomly.

Size of the room There were some insects flying and seeing the signs on the wall they were quite common It was missing a proper curtain and there was a lot of light

Hotel Secesja is conveniently located near a tram stop and is easy to get to Old Town. There's a lot of shops and restaurants nearby, too, including a few 24-hour Carrefour Express and also some laundromats. The room itself was plain but that was to be expected and there's nothing wrong with it. The bathroom was nice and spacious. I booked short-notice and the reception was helpful. I probably won't book again here during the summer. It is quite hot nowadays and their AC is not up to task. It seems like an older model, which is not bad save for the fact that it does not get cold in the room at all. I stayed a couple of days and I requested a room change because the first room was only temperate and does not get cold during the day (peak heat). This turned out to be a mistake as the second room's AC was worse and only got cold at night and returns to being tepid when the sun comes up. I left during lunch time where it's the hottest, left the AC on, and expected it to be cold when I returned in the late afternoon. It was not cold at all. I did not request another room change anymore as I prioritized internet connectivity (better in the 2nd room) and I needed to work. The first room had a better AC but had terrible, non-existent internet speeds. In both rooms, my data connection was just 1-2 bars and rarely went above 15 mbps and frequently drops.

Location and charm AC in my room did not work well. Also pillow on bed was old and flimsy.
