Hotel Unicus Krakow Old Town - Destigo Hotels

We stayed as a family of five in two rooms in early August. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Krakow Main Station, but the beautiful streets made the walk pleasant. Located on the northern edge of the Old Town, it’s a short walk to the Main Square and about 15 minutes on foot to Wawel Castle. The rooms showed some signs of age but were kept clean. The air conditioning performance differed between our second-floor and third-floor rooms; the second-floor AC was a bit weak. Nevertheless, the beds had the right firmness and were comfortable enough to rest after busy days. During our stay, an extra bed was accidentally damaged, but the staff responded very quickly—thank you for that. Breakfast was excellent; you could order mainly egg dishes which were cooked to order and all were very tasty, leaving both adults and children very satisfied. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, and there were water dispensers on each floor. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Unicus Krakow Old Town! The location is absolutely top-notch—just steps away from the main street and the Main Market Square, within walking distance to all the top attractions. The breakfast was really good, offering a great variety including cheeses, eggs/omelets, fresh bread, vegetables, fruits, coffee, and pastries. The staff was super friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is fully air-conditioned, and the rooms were kept spotless and well-organized every day. Excellent value for money—we would definitely stay here again! A small note for fitness enthusiasts: The sauna and small fitness center share a very compact area, which didn't seem to be working during our stay. While this might not bother most guests, as people who like to work out when good facilities are available, it was a bit disappointing for us personally. Overall, it's an excellent value for money and we highly recommend it!

Lovely stay, would definitely recommend, the excursions on offer were brilliant, proper good fun and well worth doing. The area around the hotel was smashing too, loads to see just on your doorstep. Reception were an absolute gem, always ready with a spot-on restaurant recommendation whenever we asked. Definitely will come back

What an absolutely delightful, cozy, clean and lovely hotel! i spent only a few days here while visiting Krakow but when I return I will definitely stay longer. The location, right in the heart of Krakow Old Town, was perfect, and it was super easy getting around. When I arrived super early, just after 11:00 AM, my room was not yet ready, which was to be completely expected. They let me store my luggage, directed me to a lovely local coffee shop for something to eat and coffee, and gave me some tips for my stay. To my great surprise, my room was ready almost immediately after I had returned with my coffee, and I was able to check in sooner than I expected. The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. They called taxis for me on multiple instances, gave me great directions with a map to Old Town destinations, told me where the post office was for my postcards, and provided me with tips for getting around for some of my daily tours. The room was PERFECT and super clean. The breakfast was AMAZING! I had no idea the on site restaurant would be so good. They had a lovely, varied buffet and an excellent menu as well. Everything they served was absolutely delicious! And I greatly enjoyed the Chopin music playing in the background on their radio. Nothing! Everything was PERFECT! It was a pleasure staying there and I'd like to do so again. :-)

Good location, Hotel situated just off the old town square, very convenient for shops, restaurants and sight seeing, easy to find. Friendly reception staff, easy check in. All was good.

The hotel was excellent value for money as they had some kind of deal on. In the Old Town, near the sights, squares, restaurants and railway station, I had a view of the tower of St Mary's with its many spires. Good sized room

The location, the room cleanliness and breakfast were excellent. I have no complaints.
