I loved my stay at Evergreen. Nicholas, the owner, was welcoming and accommodating. The space, which can house a maximum of 16 guests, was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. Top tier location near the old town and tons of restaurants and tram stops. I also really liked that the common area was so cozy. With it being a smaller hostel, it was quiet for sleeping and also very convenient in terms of meeting people. The kitchen was one of the cleanest hostel kitchens I’ve seen. I appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee

I liked 99% of things. Each person was assigned a mug, which was fine, but I could never be sure mine was clean or that it had been washed properly. The shower curtain situation was a little janky. No shoes were allowed in the hostel, but I guess that makes sense. The outside of the building and inner stairwell look sooooo sketchy, but trust, the hostel is so nice.

the location and surrounding areas were very pleasant and beautiful. the room sizes were great for the price and everything you could need was provided. the staff was also very kind with providing a book of cheap bars/clubs/restaurants The bathroom did smell a bit odd. it wasn't necessarily bad or anything but it terrible. the kitchen was also pretty small, the faucet was oddly low so it made it a bit hard to do dishes at times.

Perfect location, privacy screens on beds, and good communication from host Nothing really

The women's dorm felt spacious and even the top bunks had curtains. Lots of good info in their guides. And they even had a toaster oven to use in the kitchen! Beds were already made up for you and they have slippers for guests so people don't wear their outside shoes inside. The shower and bathroom were abysmal and smelled. The showers were so tiny and I could not get hot water to come on. They need to figure out a better situation for the black rubber sheets they use as shower curtains. The rooms felt cold and damp but it was mid-October so I wasn't sure if they just didn't want to turn on the heater or what. My towel never dried. One man staying there was not a traveler but service worker who would come back late at night and monopolize the common area making it feel weird to hang out in common space. Didn't give off true hostel vibe.

The room was very stuffy, but if I opened the window all the noises from the main street annoys me a little bit.

Location, privacy curtains in bunk beds

Some facilities, especially the bathrooms need some improvements. The doors for instance. One of the showers had no rack to put your clothes, and two of each (toilets and showers) it's not enough.

Very good location, and a budget-friendly option for a short stay. Outlets available for each bunk. Beds were cracking a lot. Staff is not always there in the apartment in case you need something.

The location is great, very near to old town. Stuff was very friendly and polite. Beds are very comfy and curtains are great for some sort of privacy. I even had my own cup and also they have coffee, tea. Bathroom wasn’t that clean, people were talking loudly at night in the kitchen.

Great hostel! I visited in late June — the room was bright, airy, and comfortably cool. Slept very well. The common area felt cozy and homey, perfect for solo travelers to connect. The host was friendly and helpful. Loved my stay!

Nice and quiet, tucked away but close to anything. Not a party hostel at all. I got a great night's sleep.

Nice hostel with extremely strong and good showers, was fairly social while I was there, cozy common area.

Location, cleanliness, privacy, quiet space, kitchen, customer service, check-in and out process Nothing!

Amazing stay! The owner is super nice, the hostel is very clean, beds with curtains give great privacy. Perfect location — close to everything, but still quiet. 10/10, highly recommend!

the toilet and the shower room are in the same room, so a little bit inconvenient
