J-Hotel by Dorsett

What was great about the hotel is that it’s close to many nice places like TRX Mall and Bukit Bintang. They are within walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast was very poor, with limited options, and the chefs did not follow proper hygiene practices—they were cooking without wearing caps. They also showed a lack of respect for guests; one of them was even singing loudly while we were having breakfast.

It’s a nice place to stay, very comfortable rooms, great location

The pillow was soft and got pain in my neck The toilet got uneasy smells, and the tile surface floor in the bathroom was uneven. The lighting is not in a good location, just located on eye level, make us uncomfortable while lying on bed

It was my first time in Malaysia, and I chose J-hotel primarily for its value. It was surprisingly clean and hygienic, located near the city center, just a 2km taxi ride from the convention center. There are also many Chinese restaurants nearby, so the location was perfect for us, and the price was beautiful. Also, Shahim, the handsome front desk guy, was very friendly, and Pankaj, who helped with our luggage, was always there to open the door for us. Such a nice touch! Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the elevator in the perk time. You can make a reminder at the front desk to inform the location of another elevator.

Filtered water and good breakfast

The location was great, easy to walk to themed restaurants, great food around the area, with walking distance to TRX exchange mall. Traffic to and from hotel was very smooth compared to the busy pavilion area. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful too. There is also a mart that sells groceries just 5 mins from the hotel. One worthy mention is that all rooms comes with filtered drinking water in the bathroom which saves the trouble of buying bottled ones. Everything was great!

The room was spacious The toilet was moldy, old and small. The room was also very noisy from the outside you could hear the staff walking around. The location was not convenient.

Cozy room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The luggage storage facilities were great too! Laundry. The rooms do not have a washing machine. Instead, you pay for each cloth you want washed and ironed, which is slow and relatively expensive.

The bed was soft and cozy, and the bathroom was spotless with plenty of hot water. The Wi-Fi connection was sometimes slow.

The room was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast area got crowded during peak hours.

Location so strategic for holiday, nearest with Berjaya time square, Pavilion and etc!

The breakfast was very limited

Very clean and good location. The hotel is a very basic lodging for short term stay. The short stairs in front of the hotel. it’s ok if you travel light but it’s a bit of a struggle if you have heaven suitcase.

My stay was amazing, staff was so kind and nice (especially Amir at the reception), service was really fast, clean, and very convenient distance to the tourists attractions
