Facility was old but renovated but still needs more modern facilities. Air conditioner not working strong enough.

The location was excellent, very close to the shopping area and the castle. The staff was very kind. The bed was comfortable and the window has nice view Parking not included

One of the gentlemen spoke good English and was very helpful. There is a FamilyMart directly up the road, and a Streetcar stop a 10 minute walk away that connects to Kumamoto Station and other hotspots. The hotel is in a little bit of a questionable area, and I often found groups of Japanese men hanging out directly outside. Some of them seemed to be guests and were rude to me in the lobby (likely because I am a foreigner), but the staff didn't say anything. Though the price is good, the hotel isn't anything special - you can definitely find a corporate hotel at the same price point without the strange clientele.

The staff was wonderful, especially the ladies that worked in the restaurant. They did everything to provide a delicious breakfast.

The location was quite good for the purposes that I needed. Additionally the price was within the budget that I wanted to spend. I found the bed to be extremely hard and very lumpy. The pillow also wasn't comfortable at all. I have sleeping issues, and so this certainly didn't help.
