Pleasant gem of a hotel. The location next to the shōtengai (商店街) was a surprise as I wasn't investigating the surroundings other than the castle. The Japanese breakfast was great, the family members that chose the western breakfast was mildly disappointed with the limited menu.

Iv been here a few times. It's an incredible place that's right in the heart of everything. The breakfast is reasonably priced also.

This brand new hotel is located right in the heart of the food and entertainment district. It's also about a 6 minute walk from the tram station, the tram costs 200 yen so it's easy to get to The doors in the rooms have a gap under them that allows a lot of light in the room at night. I put a towel down and it blocks the light from the hallway.

The bathroom was a little narrow.

The room was very comfortable, well laid out, quiet and clean. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The location was convenient, easy walk to shopping malls and Kumamoto Castle. Nothing comes to mind.
