The wellness activities cost extra money, the breakfast included wasn't good for what they offered was extremely limited. You had to choose what you wanted to eat the day before and choose what time you wanted to eat. This was not relaxing at all. The classes you had to book in advance and most get cancelled because not enough people sign up. You have to pay for classes in advance which is again, not relaxing. The facilities close early at 7 pm. It seems like they are cutting costs wherever possible. I didn't feel like this hotel encapsulated what 'wellness' really is and its misleading, I didn't have a relaxing time

The property has it's own yoga studio and also the pilates reformer rooms, which was wonderful - vey airy and tropical vibe of the yoga, I enjoyed very much my morning classed Very close to the wonderful beach Padang Padang

So far the best hotel we had in this trip. Love the design of this hotel, boutique and artistic. The staff is very friendly, intended for service and easy to connect via what’s up. Tried the yoga class was amazing, teacher is very professional. Also did the spa in the hotel, sooo good. Although breakfast was not in-house but definitely healthy and nice. The shuttle bus to the Main Street was broken and 10 mins walk among hills was not that pleasant. Other than that was great.

The property is pretty. The yoga hut is wonderful. Lizzy the pilates teacher is amazing. My hot water didn't last more than 3 minutes. The property is way up a hill with lots of potholes. You must either take the shuttle down - which only runs certain hours of the day or call a scooter taxi.

The location is relatively convenient, once you're able to get your bearings around. The build quality of the hotel is fair as I am still able to see some patchy construction works in the room. The room was clean and the reception staff were friendly and very responsive. They've made my stay truly enjoyable. Depending on the instructor you choose, the Pilates class was enjoyable. The co-working / lounge area was decent. The common pool was really small, you can't really swim in it. the other amenities like the cold plunge pool and shower area were tiny too.

The room was clean and comfortable , and staff lovely. Secluded area but still accessable on foot. Noise from nearby construction - I was particularly annoyed because i was lead to believe there was no noise. Sitting outside on the balcony or around the pool was unpleasant due to noise. No restaurant No coffee cups or facility in the room to make coffee

The size of the room was very big and was Super clean , great value , excellent customer service very attentive staff Mosquitos, although my room was sprayed and plugged a mosquito liquid in the room and sprayed myself still Horton bitten quite a bit but literally the location surrounded by trees I think hard to avoid not to get bitten by mosquitoes.

The staff were generally really welcoming and helpful - from reception to security. It was amazing to feel like you were in the middle of nowhere when you were so close to the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. Having the yoga classes there was lovely. The buggy which we relied on to get to and from the Main Street (especially in the pitch black), broke on our second day. There was no alternative given apart from a text and telling us to get a scooter. This was a big appeal of staying at this hotel as it is removed from the main drag, so you rely on the buggy in the intense heat and the dark night. Sauna and ice plunge facilities were a great addition but weren’t cleaned regularly

Our stay at Manta didn’t quite live up to our expectations based on Booking.com and previous reviews. We stayed for three nights and unfortunately had issues with mosquitoes—getting bitten quite badly—as well as spotting a cockroach in our room. Additionally, there was a strong, unpleasant smell in the rooms. While the property does offer a small sauna and plunge pool, neither looked particularly inviting. Manta is located downhill with a lot of steps, which could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. There’s a small coffee area where you can purchase items like creams, books, and T-shirts. Yoga classes are held on-site in a spacious area, though we didn’t participate. We did, however, find it odd that the instructor used a microphone despite having only three or four participants. The rooms are laid out in a somewhat impractical way, with a fridge and an extra air conditioning unit taking up space. While the exterior of the hotel looks fresh and well-maintained, the rooms themselves feel quite worn. The doors and windows don’t match the overall theme of the property and gave off a cheap, somewhat insecure feel.
