Batatu Resort - Adults Only

The hotel’s resort had a fabulous pool as well as in our villa. The hotel very kindly gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe 2 bed bungalow which was beautiful. It was very spacious. The hotel also offered free shuttle service at selected times to the town center which was very convenient. The hotel were very quick at responding to our messages when trying to book taxis. The property is located 5-10 mins driving from kuta town center so you need to take a taxi, it is not possible to walk. The taxi app is not in operation on the island so it is necessary to reserve a taxi with the hotel. It would be more convenient if you had a moped or your own transport staying at this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here -- the food was great, the staff were attentive (literally answered us within 5-15 min for everything!) for everything we needed. The hotel was also really pretty (had friends ask where we were) too. For the price per night, I would say it was very well worth it. Peaceful, and just a 10 min ride into town (with free shuttle service included too), we'd definitely come back! The air conditioning could have been cooler but we understand that the high ceilings can make it a little harder to cool down.

The room was very spacious and the pool area was great. The staff were friendly, and the location just outside busy Kuta made it easy to relax while still being close to surfing beaches. Scooters were available for hire, and the room service was excellent.

Not a far scooter ride to the town. Very clean and well kept rooms and outside area. Quiet. There nothing we didn’t like!

We stayed 8 nights and booked a villa with a private pool. From the moment you arrive you’re welcomed with a big smile and that’s the general theme. All the staff are polite friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They run a very efficient system that involves a WhatsApp group personal to yourself and you can order anything off the extensive menu to be delivered to your room or poolside and it’s was all delicious. Fresh food and at a reasonable cost. The villa we were given had a lovely outdoor seating area with a little kitchen that had a kettle a microwave and fridge. Fresh water replenished every day and the fridge was stocked with alcohol and soft drinks all at reasonable prices. Basically you paid for what you used at the end of your stay. The bed was really comfy and showering in the open was a nice touch. The shower had plenty of hot water and was really spacious. The pool was lovely. Nice for a dip after been out all day. We hired a scooter from the hotel which was good and we toured around the island which is east to get around. The hotel is an about ten mins out of Kuta but it’s more among local life rather than the town. End of the road is a supermarket and petrol station about a five min walk. If you like to eat out there are local places within walking distance. Would we stay here again. Definitely yes it’s really good value for what we paid and as we were touring Asia it was nice to have a little bit of luxury. Nothing to dislike. What you have to remember is these places are running all year round and need constant upkeep

I booked for 1 night for the classic bungalow and the staff kindly upgraded us ( it’s based on the availability) , all the staff were very kind always here for you if you need anything , the room was perfect , beautiful and clean.

Beautiful property. Loved it here. Beds were firm(if you like that) I asked for some extra bedding and they were quick to help so that was great

Privacy, room facilities, atmosphere, good priced transfers from and to the airport Lots of bugs inside the room, private pool is dirty and doesn’t have easy access, motorbikes for rental are in bad condition and in limited availability, staff is nice and keen to help but does not always speaks English

Wow, wow, wow! We ended up at one of their private pool villas. Such a great space!!! We LOVED our stay here. The sunk-in livingroom is sooooo comfy. Probably one of the best places we've stayed in. The communication was fantastic. We were immediately set up a WhatsApp link to the staff. They were incredibly responsive. The food was amazing, breakfast was on point. Just couldn't be happier and we were sad to go. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Everything's perfect. The ambience was calm and quiet, our room was clean, all the staff were helpful, the pool was great, and all the food was made properly with a great standard and reasonable price. They made a WhatsApp group chat for your room, making communication more efficient. We rented a motorbike from the hotel for a day, and it turned out that the bike wasn't working properly since it wouldn't turn on when we were travelling to Mataram. The hotel sent a replacement bike from Kuta to Mataram (1 hour from Kuta by motorbike, around 50 km), waived our bike rental fee, and gave us an FnB voucher worth more than our bike rental fee. The service was beyond our expectations. Would DEFINITELY recommend everyone for their stay. Nothing, everything is excellent!

We loved the suite with the outdoor shower and private pool. Great staff and room service. Restaurants and beaches are a car ride away.

-Beautiful and well equipped room, comfortable bed, shower, etc -Nice staff! Attentive to one's questions and solving issues that arise -Clean and well maintained hotel common areas -I think they treat the surroundings with bug repellant - usually I get lots of mosquito bites but in the 1 week here I didn't see one mosquito -Drinking water included in room -Wifi works most of the time but seems the router gets stuck every once in a while and need to text the staff to reset it -The roof leaked after a storm but the staff repaired it quickly -The road to get to the hotel is filled with potholes -For a couple of requests where I ask the staff to work on something and communicate the outcome afterwards, they didn't do it proactively and required some chasing from me

The common area pool, bungalows, the staff was really helpful. Reaction of the management about the missing items taken by dogs and leaking celling (we got transferred to the villa free of charge). Smart tv in the bungalow. Location is a bit away from Kuta, stray dogs which were stealing your shoes, leaking rooftop. Pretty weak WiFi and villa’s smart tv.

The staff was very kind attentive and welcoming and they were very responsive on what's app to whatever we needed. It was peaceful and quiet. It was nice to be able to rent a scooter at the resort to travel into town. The food was good and we had the option to eat by the beautiful pool or in our room. The villa was beautiful. Very spacious with great attention to detail. It had a small kitchen which was nice to use for fruits and things we bought at the market. We loved the open concept in the living area with the pool and tree. Made for a beautiful view of the stars at night too. Another nice touch was being able to use the pool when we arrived early before check in. Would highly recommend this resort.

I loved all of the staff, they went over and beyond to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible! Everyone was so attentive, and not to mention the food was amazing. I'd hands down come again to Batatu, and if you are ever staying in Lombok this is the place to stay!
