The Hill View Lombok

The hot water never worked. The wifi in my room (the third room) wasn't good. Made it inconvenient to work as I could only work in the main area. The place is also a bit far from the main area, but if you have a scooter, it's not a problem.

Nice views, very close to the Goa Bat Cave and peaceful at night. The rooms are nice and the staff is kind and helpful.

Gorgeous property, clean rooms, lovely helpful staff. Great location at the top of a steep hill with stunning views. Too far to walk to the restaurants and beach but we hired a scooter from the property and they also called for us a taxi into the town. Best banana pancakes for breakfast. Although there are only about ten steps up to the property, they are extremely deep.

The location is on the hill with nice view on the ocean and 5 minutes away from Kuta. It is a perfect spot to explore the southern part of the island. The hospitality of the owner Adhi and his team is amazing and their flexibility is also awesome.

The views, calm place and the staff is amazing Toilet smell, and overpriced. The place is good but not as good for the prive that i paid.

Adhy is a wonderful host, along with his staff. They are friendly and welcoming and offer you tea and coffee whenever you come home. Breakfast was great and the rooms were spacious and clean. I would definitely come and stay again at The Hill View Lombok!

Exceptional

+ Quiet stay on the hill with sea view from some rooms + There is a huge bat cave a few hundred meters away and you can see bats fly for a sunset dinner + Kuta beach is less than 10 minutes of drive away - You need a car or bike to get to the beach

Not being a scooter rider myself, I was very happy when the owner's nephew, Idi, offered to drive me around. Idi showed me some places without tourists and taught me a little Bahasa. When I wanted to go surfing, they put me in touch with a great instructor with whom I am still in contact. The shower only had cold water.

Nice basic room and tasty breakfast. Beautiful little garden, terrace and view on the hill down to the ocean. I came during high season, Kuta was fully booked. So I overpaid for this remote place up the hill. You need a scooter to get here and into town. The shower is only with cold water. The staff does not speak English. I didn’t feel welcome nor comfortable.

The staff was very polite and helpful. Adhy assisted me to get a driver and ensure me and my daughter have been taken care of. Getting around in Lombok will be much easier if you could ride a motorcycle. Appreciate it if a bottle of water is proved inside the room.

We booked for one night last minute and so glad we found Adhy's place. Adhy and staff are amazing, and so accommodating. For those that surf the accommodation is located in a perfect spot for great surf spots. The bed and pillows were comfortable and surprisingly the location is really quiet at night. We slept soundly. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning. There is a beautiful restaurant called Ashtari up the road and so worth visiting, and there is also yoga classes held there. Perfect. I wish Adhy all the best for the future, and we hope to visit again.
