Loved the rooms!! staff were fantastic. The onsen was lovely. Excellent position. Dinner was delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel. The service at breakfast was slow and the breakfast was a little disappointing as it was the same everyday.

Everything is wonderful. The corner room had a nice view of Gion area and a Japanese style bath was nostalgic to me that memories of my family. The location is a few minutes away from Nene no Michi which was awesome. Ukata was very nice too. All the staffs are kind. None

Everything is clean and worth it, and if I return to Kyoto, I will stay at this hotel again. “It’s in a high place, but the view is worth the effort because it’s at the highest area in Kyoto.”

Everything was delightful. The rooms were large, elegant. The onsen bath was heavenly. The staff was perfect. The hotel was immaculate, a zen delight!!! Could have stayed there for a month. Surpasses Four Seasons. Nothing.

I loved this hotel so much I cannot wait to return! The only very small thing was getting to and from the hotel to the city. It is very high up and steep so you either take a steep downhill/uphill walk to the shopping area or take very steep stairs.
