The hotel is located at an inconvenience place. They said there’s a breakfast included but they forget to mention you get a ticket to a cafeteria outside the hotel which only includes bread and salad. Also the bed were quite hard, some people might like it but personally I have back pain issues and it intensified it. When we tried to ask to a extra pillow the staff was rude as she was busy with other stuff.

Great facilities with the laundry room / smoking room The room was perfectly clean and comfortable The curtains weren't that covering so since the sunrise in Japan is quite early it was kind of annoying to be waken up by it.

The request for cancellation due to an illness was not accommodated. Understandable, but their denial was strange & in a non-japanese way, suddently shifting their communication to Japanese with a stern message .... strange

Parking for my motorcycle. It is not an hotel it is an inn. You want to send your luggage go to 7-11...

Clean, big room, cozy place to stay It was like a sauna at the reception floor. Maybe some technical issue. In the room or other floors no issue

Price / performance choice. You can walk to the shopping street in less than 15 minutes. Not the best location you can find in Kyoto. The entrance to the building is through a narrow side street. Although we didnot face any negative situation, just to keep in mind, If you get anxious or intimidated easily. No daily cleaning of the room, or change of towels, you had to ask on front desk with the additional price.

Good location, nicely equipped room and bathroom. Great value for the price! Pillows were on a hard side, staff could be little bit more polite and improve a bit their English ?

Only downside was room was a little small but that's really not an issue. Compared to many places in Japan it's normal.

Location: Super practical. There’s Omiya station & Shijo station on both side of the hotel. 2 nearest 7/11 & Family mart (savior for all tourists), just 1min walk theres Burger Revolution (served halal opts too). And you can walk literally to anywhere & there’s nearby bus stop if you op out for walking. Price: Consider the affordable among the other nearest hotels around during peak period, we went in January. Amities: By the lobby. Includes washing & dryer area (even microwave is available too). We have stayed for 14days and they only provide 5x room cleaning. Hmmm the AC doesn’t have heating function like how Japan’s hotel would have (I mean we did already tried translating the AC Remote and it was non) we went during winter in January. Free 2 water bottles during our stays unfortunately it is only on the 1st day.
