the room is great, except there isn't a lot of room to walk. Just after the door qhen you first come in the bathroom is all a good size! no room for luggage the SPA seems great, the ONLY reason why I booked this place come to find out NO TATTOS allowed so the only reason why I booked this hotel... and I couldn't even use it i booked through booking.com thinking it included breakfast when I checked in... I was told it did not include it

Weird uncomfortable pillows to sleep on, rooms ok size larger than some we stayed in within Japan. Breakfast was good buffet style so catered for most diet concerns. Dinner was not good most of time your groups there but if you head out to the right and then turn right again you are in the Main Street so loads of restaurants. beds are large enough for myself and a 7 year old to share. Bus number 9 outside goes to Kyoto station and easy walk to trains for sight seeing Hard weird pillows have to ask for extra as only give one per bed.

The hotel was perfect for me. The convenient location, good variety of food, room facilities and everything, whenever I return to Kyoto I will surely stay at this hotel. The room was not so small for a japanese hotel and had everything needed. The very big bathroom was a nice surprise. -

The room was cozy and comfortable providing amenities like a fridge, plenty of towels, kimonos, slippers and hygiene amenities. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The reception provides free coffee and tea and a microwave 24h a day which is very nice too. Exceptionally good breakfast which is well organised by time slots for each guest. For a little fee (4 USD) one can use the gym which is equipped with dumbbells, cable pulls, bikes and such. All in all a great stay!

I value a hotel because it meets expectations. But I value a hotel even more when there is a mistake and they correct it. My second night in the room there was a clicking noise keeping me up. They gave me a new room on the spot. We all make mistakes but I value a person more when they correct them. That I couldn’t stay longer.

Great hotel in an amazing location, just near bus /train stations to every thing you want in Kyoto. The staff is extremely nice. Overall great value for money.
