Service was excellent. And the staff was helpful and very courteous with a problem that I encountered when I first got into my apartment.

Good location Room too small. No closet space

Breakfast wasn't great.

The hotel is nicely done and is very comfortable. The room is slightly larger than the other hotels we visited on our trip. The facilities are nice and it is clean.

The only thing we like about the hotel is the room and the bathroom. Another thing to mention is the pillow, quite nice. The hotel and rooms are modern and well-appointed. If I mentioned several good things I like about this hotel, there are a lot more things I don't like about this hotel, that I don't recommend them. First, they don't provide bottled water in the room. They said there is water available at the lobby. The sad part, WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE SOME OF THE WATER TO OUR ROOM, UNBELIEVABLE. The second bad thing is that the service of the hostess (the person who takes the customer to the table) at the restaurant is quite poor. Let me clarify, not all staff at the breakfast restaurant are bad, only the lady at the counter, who I think is the host. She was the host on the first 2 breakfast days on March 25 & 26, 2026. She was extremely mean and rude. She had so many don'ts that we are not allowed to do, such as she would not let us take some water from the lobby or take some water from the breakfast table. Yes, she is the Water lady who guards the lobby. She would not let us move to a different table. And last but not least, she doesn't greet people or say thank you, not a pleasant person, I guess. Oh, one more thing. My other family members' rooms were not cleaned properly. One of the rooms had a used personal towel left in the bathroom. And one of the beds in the other room had dirt and hair on the pillow.

The location was great, it was very clean, and the shower was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and efficient. We were expecting the rooms in Japan to be small which made it tight with more than one suitcase. Something to be aware of. The bathroom layouts differed in our group and space could be tight. It would have been nice to be able to use the stairs as the elevator gets congested. Beware that there is a charge for the extra services, ie; gym, laundry.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. I also liked the amenities- small razors and face items were very appreciated! It wasn’t the most centrally located - we had to walk a distance for things. Not out of the way, but not super in the main area.

Everything was great! Especially the staff, they went above and beyond to assist with forwarding our luggage to our next hotel to avoid any hassle. I didn't catch the front desk agents name, but she was such a huge help! Location was great especially when Kyoto station is nearby to take the trains, 7/11 & Family Mart right down the street. Very convenient! Two things that stood out - bed was too hard to sleep on, but my family and I aren’t used to it. And I love that the hotel provided laundry facilities, but the dryers need help. It took more than four drying cycles, and our clothes were still damp. Other guests were having the same situation so multiple people also had to keep using the dryer until past midnight with a line starting to form.

What a pleasant surprise!! the hotel is pretty modern, the rooms are bigger than the Japanese standard, it felt very spacious. There is a much needed sauna and the restaurant have very good quality food. We used public transportation to get around Kyoto and there were many options nearby.

Seemed mostly central to Nishiki market. Walking distance to a few konibini’s, restaurants, and coffee shops. This was a big reason in choosing this hotel. Fitness areas are a must for us.. while this one wasn’t anything spectacular, it was clean and allowed us to get a workout in. Must reserve ahead of time.. ¥1,000/2 hours. We were slightly confused bc after we noticed it said in a 24 hour period you can use “as many times as you like”. I paid for a second use within that 24 hour period but now thinking maybe I didn’t need to because there was plenty of time remaining on that 2 hour period. One of the larger family style rooms that easily accommodated our family of 5. The air conditioner in the hotel was perfect a the comforter was decent. Only 4 on site parking sites which isn’t a big deal with coin lots next to the hotel. One downside to this though is I didn’t know we would be credited (per their website) ¥500/night which could have covered the kids breakfast. There also were no children’s amenities in the room but available to purchase for ~¥330. One of the rooms smelled of dirty water/sewage. Wasn’t super noticeable once we were in the room awhile but could catch a sniff occasionally. Husband said the bed was too firm and I personally didn’t like the pillows. Breakfast buffet did not have any American options — this was fine for us but may not be for other people traveling.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and friendly. The rooms are very nice, very nice bed, great bathroom. Love the spa on the top floor. Breakfast is expensive for the quality, but convenient. For the price, the breakfast could have been better.

Right in the Kyoto CBD, so a little tricky if you wanna get to the outskirts of the city to see temples and nature, but

For the price the location is not so convenient. Avoid the restaurant, I had the buffet lunch and the food is not placed on heaters so everything is cold. Then I found a piece of steel wire in the salmon that I was about to eat. Morning onsen closes at 9am, a bit too early.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel room was clean, decent size, beds were comfy and shower was great. Hotel wifi was decent. Hotel location is also decent for busses, most of the time you're either walking 5-10 min after getting off the bus or you get off right in front of it. Hotel also has restaurant at first floor and you can order from their menu whenever you want until evening. There is nothing bad to say about unless I nitpick but my dislike was small selection of buffet food for western breakfast.
