Ace Hotel Kyoto

The property was centrally located with a modern vibe. There were regular and electric bikes on property for use for free and that made getting around the city a ton of fun. The restaurants in the hotel were also convenient and amazing. When we arrived, my husband was motion sick from the bullet train and the staff did everything they could to get us into a room and comfortable. This was our favorite property of the trip. Loved it all.

Spacious rooms , so convenient , walking 5 mins to nishiki market, good restaurants on the property, walking distance to shops , metro connected to the hotel ! Perfect location to explore kyoto

This hotel a little gem in the heart of Kyoto but somehow not too crowded (maybe price point is a bit high?) - amazing restaurant and the Bar - the cocktails are really good! They welcome dogs (and cats i beleive) and crate and pet bed with all amenities was in place for our dog. Inform the hotel when you make the booking - not all the room are available when you bring your pet. The vinyl player in every room and the choice of record you can choose from is insane - such a special moment. I wish we had stayed a bit longer - definitely coming back when we are in Kyoto again. Staff is also really helpful and friendly. Hight recommended!

Breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed every morning! Location was very central and easy to get to, also close to great shopping and other local activities. Can’t think of one thing

The location could not better, hotel is hip and relaxed while also being very high end. The perfect place to step out of the hustle and bustle of tourist crowds but also feel like your in a cool environment. We were a rather large party and after just arriving I was trying to find a place to grab dinner. The concierge was helpful and called a bunch of places for us but forgot to mention that there are literally like 5 really cute restaurants in the plaza of the hotel that we should have tried. Not her fault but would have been an easy fix for my problem.

Location was very convenient, directly linked to the train station and a short walk to the shopping area. Black tiles in the shower room weren't clean, mold on the ceiling! The breakfast was average!

If you’ve grown tired of overly formal and predictable hotel designs, I highly recommend this place. It breaks away from the usual, with thoughtfully curated spaces that feel both engaging and inspiring
