Location was great, super close to Kyoto station which made it handy when getting an early morning train. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and great flavours. It had public baths which my husband used, sadly I couldn't use it because of their tattoo policy so I utilised the bath in our room instead. We had stayed at lots of other hotels etc in Japan in the run up to staying at Almont, I would say that the staff aren't as friendly in comparison to other places. The layout of the room could be improved. I had a medium sized suitcase and in other small Japanese hotel rooms the spaces had been designed where you could lay out your suitcase easily despite being a small room, Almont was definitely trickier.

The location was close to the station and it was fairly easy to take the bus to the centre. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the onsen was a big plus for tired travellers. Nothing

Staff were very helpful and professional. The room was clean and functional. The ambiance was calm and quiet. There were variety of food selections at breakfast.

1. I try thier breakfast. many variety and is nice. 2. they have a welcome drink from 3 to 10pm there is hot and cold beverage for you to select. 3. the restaurant can be use. (i can't remember what time to what time.) 1. is small. 2. thier smoking points is outside of the hotel. may be they can have a room for the smokers. 3. there is no convenience shop near by. need to walk about 5mins

Very nice and spacious room, the biggest during our stay in Japan. Quite friendly staff and very nice facilities to relax or work! The bathroom could be a little better, but not bad in general!

The room, facilities and the location are great. The breakfast was also well managed with various delicious menu. It's less comfortable for toddler/kids as there are glass vases on table in the lobby. Another thing I feel annoyed was the way restaurant staff noticed my kids when they are running into the restaurant. She should have talked to the parents rather than to kids with such quiet loud voice. Overall the stay was nice.

The breakfast at the hotel was beyond my expectation and they even cleaned the room when I was only staying for 2 nights. Staff were all very helpful and polite. Would definitely book this hotel again if I visit
