Raised tatami beds were super cool. Also the fact that you are sleeping on level with the window is great. Hotel esthetics and staff were great. Location is also crucial here..in the center, but in a quiet area. Within 5m walk to the Gojo and Shijo metro stations...and 20 mins on foot from the Gion district.

Walk to Gion or city centre is at least 15 mins, so after a long day, it might feel like tiring walking back to the hotel but of course, you could use a bus.

Rooms are bit cramped. The vibe was good as they have a great restaurant at ground floor. They served amazing Thai Breakfast. Location is real good. We loved walking from the hotel to everywhere we wanted to go. Just outside the hotel is a ramen shop named Champontie - Its great. Room could have been more spacious. The bed is weird.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and polite. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing as well. Highly recommended.

Incredible everything, couldn’t be better overall and especially in terms of value. 7/11 five minutes away, lots of boutiques and coffee shops around, Gion district 10 mins away. Rooms were a little small but no big deal. Pictures are accurate.

Enjoyed this hotel more than expected, location was great, room was clean and spacious for Japan standards, and the later-than-usual check-out time (12:00) helped us get in an extra morning activity on our departure day, not rushing to get out of the hotel we could go out in the morning.

I like the location & cleanliness of the hotel. Foods was not bad. I think the service could be better. Not saying overall service is bad, just not all staffs are friendly enough. But some are really friendly & patience.

Amazing location, very clean hotel, wonderful beds and shower. Everything was very comfortable. There is room service as well. The breakfast could have more flexible options. We didn’t get the hotel breakfast because it offered fixed set menu options only, which we didn’t like.
