No elevators made it tricky to bring luggage up and down the stairs
-
There is really no front office staff on site, you are kind of left to fend for yourself. Also no elevator and we were sent to the last floor! That is totally on us, because we didn’t read the no elevator part, but it was definitely a pain after a tired long day and getting all luggage in and out of the hotel.

Very spacious rooms! Beds were comfortable and clean. Nice corner room with large windows and quiet neighborhood. Only 1 small bath towel provided per guest. Would have been nice to have 2 bath towels. No room cleaning service.

I liked the location, the check in anytime process, and the room size and value. There was rarely anyone at the front desk and the beds weren’t super comfy

spacious windows were a little broken

Amazing shower and very clean. Nice view from balcony. Perfect for families. No elevator and very narrow stairs, but that was explained before we booked. Local lady in the middle alleyway does NOT like tourists, we got yelled at a couple times, but that’s a small price to pay for a nice hotel. Also no washer and dryer, but a 5 min walk.

The room kind of dusty

The room was really well designed and stylish, but also very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a separate shower/tub room and there was alot of counter space and storage. The room had extra seating and a fridge and great air conditioning. The location was within walking distance to restaurants, conbinis and the gion district. There is almost no staff, so we felt pretty much on our own. We only saw a person briefly when we checked in and we just had to figure things out after that. There is no elevator and we were on the top floor, so it was alot of stairs.

Great stay for a family. Had a weird occurrence where we left our luggage early in the day before check in. Went out to

Very spacious, aesthetic, good location, staff was accessible, etc. Our room window / ceiling leaked and the bed and comforter got wet. It was addressed with a towel, gorilla tape and a bucket. Bed wasn’t changed, bedding was soaking wet. We had to reach out to front desk a second time to get a proper resolution which was to change rooms. The second room was very nice & spacious…with no leaks.

Location is excellent Not easy to see the staff because short working hours. Also no lift is another issue.
-
The location. The room. There is no elevator, no pajamas. This is more like airbnb than a hotel. The only staff working on the hotel is the receptionist who was very rude. Please find a better staff since he is the only staff. This is my forth time in Japan and that was my first time greeted by a rude receptionist

-Amazing cute hotel very close to train station and all the restaurants -The room assigned smelled very bad, I believed it came from the carpet or the fabric furniture which was a huge inconvenience, the room should have not been booked to anyone and should have been deep cleaned therefore the 7/10 given.

Good space and clean and good location No lift and stairs is tidy

The room is big, we got clean room, and good amenities there's a crazy lady who screamed at us when we just arrive, we thought the middle road in between the hotel is the entrace, but turn out it's not. There's no staff at all that can guide or help us. No elevator, but thankfully our room is on second floor and I travel with boys, but it will be hell if you're a girl travelling alone. The crazy neighbour making us feel unsafe, for the hotel please sort out the problem with your neighbour first before you open the hotel, or make the sign clearer let it say "Hotel Guest Can't Enter"

We stayed in the room ‘Shi Shi’. The room was so spacious and felt luxurious. We loved the little bathroom goodie bag for each guest, skincare products and Dyson Airwrap. There was a lovely little garden off the separate tatami bedroom which was a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again. The location is great - an easy walk to Yasuka Shrine and Nishiki Market. Close to multiple convenience stores and restaurants, as well as a taxi rank and metro stations. There is also a small laundromat a short walk away. There is no elevator which we were fully aware of before we got there so please don’t be surprised at the stairs. They allowed us to leave our pram in the foyer and held our luggage after checkout. There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t like.

Rooms were spacious and very comfortable Finding the room as name of room was in Japanese and paperwork did not mention room name

Room was beautiful, very clean, Excellent Location !! The 3 reasons I don’t give 5 starts are: 1) Room was located in the 5th floor !! NO ELEVATOR!!!! with Very steep stairs, and going up and down with suitcases were very hard. They should warn about that issue when booking the room. If I had known about the issue of the room on the fifth floor without an elevator, I definitely would NOT have booked the apartment. 2) There was an elderly woman behind the apartment in the hallway between the check-in and the main entrance who was constantly complaining and shouting, making the arrival and departure process a bit awkward. 3) Very small and thin bath towels. Otherwise the place was very nice.

spacious rooms enough to fit 4 persons and 4 full sized luggages. no elevators though, and narrow stairs. and we were staying on the 5th floor. so recommended to pack light or have more ppl to help lift the luggages up the stairs ?

Loved the simplicity of the rooms. Very large rooms, clean and comfortable. This is a very small hotel with 8 rooms so staff is not on site 24 hrs. Communication is done through the booking site with response taking several hours. Felt a bit more like an Airbnb than a hotel. The location was very convenient, walkable to tourist areas, restaurants and shopping. Be aware this hotel has 5 floors and no elevator.
