It's proximity to Kyoto Station. The airconditioning didn't work so well. The room was hot so we had to open the window. There's also no filtered water beside the ice maker. Other hotels provide one.

Nearest to the Kyoto station. Clean and worth the value. Should have more options for vegan/ vegetarian people.

The amenities were amazing - specifically the Refa Hairdryer, as we stayed in the hotel during spring, and it was still cold out, so dry hair was a must. Our favourite hotel in Japan. Clean, neat and quiet. The laundry machines were also easy to use. This hotel is also incredibly close to the train station, which was very helpful. I don't think there was anything not to like!

The thermostat in the room didn't work and it was stuffy at times during the night.

Location is great as it is literally next to Kyoto train station and this is why we chose this place. The room is a standard Ibis quality which was good and reliable. Breakfast was full of choices of local and continental.

Everything except a Chinese female staff The staff using Chinese dialect trying to make me Chinese I’m not there to hear her dialect. And totally delayed my check in. God bless, there’s a Nepal guy, helped me. He has altitude.

Location to train station Rooms are way too small. Bathroom was smaller than one on a cruise ship. Bathroom sink drain was not functioning properly. Breakfast was not very good.

The room was kind of dirty and the employee who cleaned our room accidentally left our room unlocked, so we were disappointed about that.

It has standards The Chinese dialect used in counter staff. I spent 30mins on her. First, she told me she couldn’t find my booking, then ask me to write down my home address and my name, but no progress in checking in…I show her my booking.com app, she found my booking, but keep fooling me around and force me to listen her Chinese dialect in this scenario; ibis style Kyoto station never let me down; this is the first time, which person decided to use this awful staff, may I know?????
