I liked the location, everything was terrible. Online description is very misleading. This is a motel, not a hotel. Closer to a hostel style living facilities. Rooms were tiny, dusty, and moldy. Stains on the carpet and curtains, windows don't open. Photos online do not match the actual rooms. Everything but the location was terrible. Online description is very misleading. Photos online do not match the actual rooms. I brought up my concerns right away but the staff brushed me off saying she couldn't do anything because her boss isn't here. She was supposed to discuss with her manager for a solution but she either forgot or never followed through. We made the best of our prison condition rooms.

Location was great. The staff was amazingly helpful and so nice! I wish i could remember the gentleman's name who checked us in the 1st day, he was amazing and funny! :) The AC or air flow in the room. It got super stuffy. Wish the window could of opened.

The location is right in the middle of the tourist frenzy. Some people will say this is good. I find it too much. Definitely not a spot for someone searching for a place with more locals.

Location is everything with this property! We were just a 2 min walk to the Macho bar and the nightlife seemed bustling throughout our evening there. The staff were very helpful and the property had laundry machines that came in handy for last minute essentials— no additional detergent needed. The space is small but if you’re looking to hangout in the area, the price makes sense.

Pretty decent location for shopping We came as a couple. It would be nice to have 2 key cards… Don’t demand a deposit of 5500 yen for a key card.

Could hear motorbikes racing the street all night due to lack of sound isolation, also guests in the hallway could get loud.

This is a perfect location close to Arashiyama and all the area has to offer. Its far enough away from the crowds to be quiet and peaceful. Train station is right on the doorstep. Food was excellent dinner and breakfast . Oishkata :) One or two of the private onsens could be upgraded - a bit tired
