The location is right in the action of the tourist center of Kyoto. If you haven’t never been to Kyoto, this is a perfect location. The amenities were lacking and even though the washer and dryer was free, they did not work very well. The dryer took hours to dry a medium-sized load of laundry. This is a problem because many people want to use the facilities.

Location was the best value for money. Right over the Kawaramachi subway station on Shijo-dori, the main shopping street, and a 10-min walk from the Gion/Higashiyama district. A breakfast restaurant would have been nice.

Great location Air conditioner temperature couldn’t be controlled, only the fan power. For a person who likes it quite cold, it was too cold even for me.

Location was fantastic for my needs. Right on the main street and not far from transport. Door is a little fun to find, but you're right in the middle of everything.

Great location if you want to see Gion area. Nearest train station is just around the corner. Clean and quite ok room with king-size bed. Check-out time 11am was slightly better than in many other hotels. Shower/toilet room was quite small. There were large windows to the busy street but you cannot see through them (they are kinda non-see-through glass).

Great location. Close to the trains. Lots of shopping nearby. Staff members seemed a bit disorganized. Bathroom was pretty small.
