Location is good and there is a parking, large rooms. Price for this location was great Old furniture, ventilation in bathroom not working well. But not a big problem

The staff were very nice and efficient. The breakfast room is lovely and food is delicious. The location is fabulous (you need to walk a bit from the subway, but doable, along with being an easy spot for walking, taxi, etc. Also has parking). With jet lag an early morning walk in the green park is so great. Nice old school moderate Japanese hotel. Room and decor could use some updates. Unit bath is pretty small.

It’s nice and cosy. The hotel robes are beautiful, just like traditional kimono. There’s a park and a temple nearby. There is no cutlery in the room. It’s a little bit far away from JR station, but walking around the area is good. And there’s a bus too.

Clean rooms, professional staff, nice luggage storage area. Location is good but a little bit of a walk to food places. We were able to walk all around Kyoto from here. Lots of room to sit outside you room. Was not able to control the air con as the room had central heating and was too hot. Was able to turn it off in the room but it was still warm. Not able to stream to TV, only public TV available.

Not too busy, check in fast , 10 min walk to subway that goes into kyoto station No light switches in room , key in = lights , have to take key out to turn lights out , no aircon controls, hot in room couldn't turn heat off, windows locked. Bit strange
