Breakfast had a huge variety with both Japanese and Western options. Location is really good - less than 5 minutes to Kyoto main station with both train and bus options to get around. Reasonably-priced accommodation. No windows in room, hence no natural light. But since the purpose was to get a good rest after a full day of exploring the city, it was not a deal breaker.

Location was perfect - just next to the train station. Nice, decent rooms. I don’t know why there no fruits at the breakfast!

Very well situated by train station, making arrival and departure easy. There are many good restaurants and stores within walking distance. The property was nicely designed with thoughtful room amenities very clean and pleasant place to stay in Kyoto. Everything was quite good. Only thing I can think of is there is no real window in room, since the screens cover the window, therefore there is no view or daylight.

It was very comfortable, it was very clean, their breakfast is something I think about weekly and wish that I could have daily… It was exceptional. Nothing really. Five stars.

The room and bathroom areas were very nice and clean. The food was great; staff very pleasant and helpful. I had no sort or negative experience at all. Every single thing was great drying my stay, except the hotel common areas like the reception area, restaurant area etc, had zero windows so I kind of felt like I was in a dark dungeon. The lights were on and low but some form of natural light would have made this an amazing stay. Really that was the only draw back and I think it took away from the experience. It’s just way too closed off and needs some natural light… otherwise great !!

Perfect hotel for relaxing and peaceful stay. Beautiful interior design, comfortable and clean room, convenient location to train and subway stations. Very professional and exceptionally kind staff. The matcha making event for the hotel guests was a great experience during which we learn new things and received local tea store recommendations. Delicious breakfast with great selection of local specialties.
