Very nice host, explained everything, let us leave our bags early and would have let us check in early if room would have been ready. Tons of amenities offered. Comfortable and very clean. There is an elevator. Great value for what they offer. Relatively close to buses (6-7 min) and trains (10 min), but if you don’t like to walk could be a problem. Quiet and very nice area, not in a touristy area, but close to it.

The room is very comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a pretty quiet area with a decent amount of food options around. Overall good value. The WiFi is terrible. That is my only complaint

Linens for the hotel were in the hallways on the 1st floor. The room was very humid and never dried out. The balcony was blocked by the desk.

The worst hotel it Kyoto, old rooms, hair on pillows, rude staff!

Room is nice and staff spoke very good English. Location is not good. It is quite far from subway station and even a bit walk to take bus.

The check in was very smooth and simple, keep in mind Kyoto does have a tourist tax. For the most part the room was clean. Probably the biggest one for us was that our bed was broken in two seperate places. No car park for drop off, there appears to be space but not utilised. If you are travelling with luggage you’ll likely need to either drive or utilise a taxi to get to the hotel with any ease a drop-off would help to make things easier. Despite being a hotel there really wasn’t much else on offer other than just a room.

It is a nice quiet hotel with enough spacious room in residential area, 10 minutes walk from the JR train station. The mattresses were squeaking.
