Very clean. Comfortable. Nice location. Kind staff. The room darkening curtains were amazing. Nothing.

Breakfast is good and location is good too. Good accessibility with train and very convenient.. Not to many restaurants around the Hotel. None!

Rooms are clean. It is close to a train. One stop yo Kyoto station. The property is far. Nothing around. The hotel pictures in the website are not representing the reality. The hotel does not have Gyn. Poor restaurant. Breakfast not western food.

1. Cleanliness — 5/5Every room was spotless. We usually expect to find hairs or crumbs in bathrooms or showers, but not here — everything was immaculate. Even the shower seals had no mold. The carpet felt clean under bare feet, and there was absolutely no odor anywhere. All the hallways in the hotel look clean, no rundowns, no smell. It was genuinely impressive. 2. Room Quality — 5/5 The rooms were beautifully updated with a modern, contemporary Japanese style. We didn’t find a single broken item — doors, furniture, and fixtures were all in perfect condition. The craftsmanship of the room structure was outstanding. 3. Beds & Linens — 5/5 We had two twin beds joined together, making a large bed comparable to a US king. The mattress was firm yet comfortable. The pillows included both real down and synthetic down alternatives. The sheets and duvet were exceptionally clean, giving us complete peace of mind for a good night’s sleep. 4. Amenities — 5/5 The thoughtful amenities made us feel right at home: separate slippers for the room and hotel areas, a shoe‑polishing bag, laundry baskets, odor spray, pajamas, personal hygiene items, even bath salt. The hotel provided two water bottles every day. The self‑service laundry was convenient and easy to use. 5. Staff — 5/5 Your staff were incredibly helpful and unfailingly polite. When we asked for taxis, they stayed outside to ensure each of us got into our cars safely before returning inside. Every request we made was handled with genuine care and kindness. 6. Location — 4/5 The hotel is slightly south of central Kyoto, but it is right next to Umekōji Station, a 10‑minute walk from Kyoto Aquarium and close to bus stops.

Reception staff helped us to forward our luggage to the next hotel which is very convenient. Breakfast is very good, we liked the Japanese options. everything was very good

It is close to train but there is only one train line around. You have to take bus to everywhere and busses are full in the evening to to come back to hotel. Sometimes you need to take a taxi.

Relaxing , clean and accommodating staff We like everything location and property

I made a mistake when I reserved for location. I thought it was Kyoto station, but found out it was next station from main Kyoto station. So transit wasn't too bad. Room was comfortable for 3 people. Also great breakfast selection. May instruct exact train station to hotel.

Good hotel great location!

Great hotel and in walking distance of some great locations. The local station is just opposite and so is a very good convenience store. Highly recommend. It was a trek from the MAIN station to walk with bags etc so double check this- would be a 20 min walk - but the local station just opposite is 2 mins away. We struggled to find the connection to the local station at first which was a pain. Not the hotels fault though, but worth sorting this before arrival esp if tired , ?

The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quiet thanks to the excellent soundproofing. We all slept very well during our stay. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They assisted us with luggage delivery and kindly stored our bags until the evening after check-out, which allowed us to continue enjoying the area. The location was perfect for our family. The nearby park was beautiful, with playgrounds, streams, and plenty of green space for children to enjoy. We liked the neighborhood so much that we stayed there until the evening on our departure day. The hotel is only one train stop from Kyoto Station, making it easy and convenient to reach different parts of Kyoto while staying in a quieter area away from the busiest tourist crowds. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Kyoto.

Location is perfect, not too crowded but very close to Umekoji Train Station.

The location was incredibly convenient, literally right next to the train station. The building itself was clean, spacious, and quiet. It was a perfect hub for exploring Kyoto while still having world-class comfort.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and I liked the location and that it was right next to a Family Mart & Starbucks. We really enjoyed our stay there. I just wish we had stayed longer to fully enjoy all the perks the hotel offered - like the baths, restaurants and games in the lobby. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. It was a great hotel!

The location it’s not meant for a family.

Very good breakfast, some good options for people who prefer a western breakfast—fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, bread, scrambled eggs, plus chef will make a simple omelet. Excellent and abundant choices for Asian breakfast. Very comfortable room and size (we choose a double for more space). Really loved the pjs they loan you—they seemed heavy at first, but were so comfortable. Window had some obscuring on the bottom half, maybe because it overlooks a school, but room was still very bright. Only downside—I think there were 5 or 6 washer/dryers but they were very popular at night when everyone wants to do laundry. When you finally got one, the whole thing took forever because the same machine washes and dries—ended up hanging clothes in room (still damp after 1 1/2 hrs of drying). But overall great hotel. Not central for restaurants, but very convenient for the train station and we liked being in a quieter area.

I liked everything about this property. The location, accessibility to the train, the accommodation was outstanding, bed really comfortable and really spacious room. I would definitely come back and stay on my next trip That I had to leave and go back home
