Location was good. Abut of a walk to core Kyoto and located near various buses and train lines. Great value for the location and a bit quieter than core Kyoto. Great size room!

Breakfast was great but I won’t want to have room service breakfast for all my stay in Kyoto so will not stay too many nights.

Tucked off of a side street, so quiet. Spacious rooms, bright lobby, friendly staff. There are two top-notch bakeries within a few blocks walking distance from the hotel. Loved the spacious shower room and Japanese style bath. Some paper/tissue wasn't vacuumed properly off the carpet, but otherwise, the room was clean and spacious.

Very big room with all the facilities of a very classy hotel. Incredibly reasonable price for the services offered. Very worthy

Room was spacious and very clean. Beds comfortable. Nespreso machine was nice unexpected addition. The whole hotel is nicely design and new. Staff are welcoming, nice and helpful. Location is quiet. But like 20 min walk to busy area. A laundry room would be a nice addition.

Room was very clean and spacious. Reception recommended and set up a reservation at an incredible Kaiseki restaurant that gave us an experience that will stick with us for a long time.

Easy access and great room for the price. Having a washing machine.

Nothing Hi so we checked into the HOMM STAY NAGI SANJO KYOTO; and found that the theme ‘glamping room’ we reserved to very much not meet expectations. The room’s ’camping tent’ had guide lines that created trip hazards all over the room, and made the room unsafe for our baby. The windows of the room were frosted glass so they had no view what so ever. The photos of the room we booked from looked bright and colorful, but in real life the space was dingy and cave like. But worst of all, in the booking photos they showed different furnished areas, that depicted the room to be far larger than it was- because the photos were of different furniture configurations of the space. When we informed the hotel staff, and asked for a different room, they told us the hotel was fully booked; as was their sister hotel here in Kyoto. We immediately booked a reservation at a different hotel and left. Now I know I booked a non-refundable stay, but I’m pretty upset that the Homm Stay has refused to give me any of my money back. They’re keeping all four nights I paid for, even though we only stayed there 20 minutes. To not give me at least half of my money back is a bit ridiculous.

The rooms were huge and very comfortable. We had the double beds, and they were closer to king size. Did not have anything we did not like.

By far the best room we stayed in during our trip to Japan. We stayed in 6 different hotels during our 2,5 weeks in Japan, and this was by far the best one. Spacious room and bathroom, as well as really clean. The beds were also massive and very comfortable. Both Gion and Nishiki market is within walking distance if that's your cup of tea. About 5-10 minutes from the nearest bus and metro. We stayed in Kyoto as one of the last stops of our 2,5 week vacation in Japan and having to walk this far every time we needed to go back was a bit of an issue. The AC unit was also quite noisy at times.

everything. the staff is very nice and kind. very clean. rooms are very big. we ordered the king size room, when we got the room we whetr surprised that the bad is low bad in a tent. for my opinion befor booking to this room the hotel should ask the guest if he understand that the bad is inside a tent and if he has any claustrophobia.

I loved how clean everything was. The rooms were very large which was a huge plus especially since i was traveling with a decent amount of luggage. Didnt once feel crammed. The price for the 6 night i stayed there was incredible. The location was great close to convenience stores. Theres a luup scooter parking spot right outside the hotel which makes traveling locally for tourists super easy. The hotel is small and doesnt have floors on floors with a ton of rooms. There maybe 6 rooms per floor and maybe 3 floors. It felt like it was a private hotel just for us. No one loitering the halls or lobbies. Staff was more than accommodating helping us with baggage, heating up food, cleaning the rooms immediately and making sure everything was stocked. The hotel is completely non smoking which I loved as well. Always greeting us as we came and left the property. If you are looking for a place to stay in kyoto THIS IS THE PLACE! You get more than what you are paying for so worth it! The property is completely non smoking which i loved as i have health issues that can be triggered by cigarette smoke. I did notice our floor/ room smelling of cigarette smoke like someone was actively smoking multiple times during my stay. One complaint to the front desk and it was handled immediately.
