the Staff at front desk pleasant. Located close to train station which made getting around easy. Felt dirty and grimy and in need of a makeover. Difficult to find the hotel as only japenese writing on outside. Room extremely small, no room for two bags

Staff was really nice and respectful. Only downfall is the rooms were very dusty and dirty. Bathroom has a stinch of urine smell. Rooms were outdated. Walls are dirty with stains. Closet door handles were very dirty. Bathroom has urine smell. Some of the walls have broken holes in it.

9 of us stayed in a traditional room here. The room was as lovely as we hoped. Staff were very professional and very kind. Location was brilliant a straight short walk from the station. Very central and easy to get around. Loved our time there and would stay again Nothing

It was a great room for a big family or group. 10 adults can sleep without moving dining table. The facilities looks a bit old, but clean enough to stay in comfortable.

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Incredible value for money given the location and facilities. The public bath was a nice touch and the service was really nice. The elevator went out a few times during our stay. They fixed it pretty quickly though, so not much to complain about.

The location is very good. There is a bath at the 1st floor, very convenient. If your staff don’t want to clean my cups and mugs, please just let them where they are. No need to put your tissue into my cups to pretend to clean.

The onsen was very nice, had some chipped tiles. Hotel held our luggages prior and after our stay, which helped a lot for exploring the city. Overall a great experience for the price. It’s a little run down

happy with the spacious room for our four-ppl fam The room rate is cost-effective given the peak season of Kyoto city. The staffs were dedicated to all kinds of services. facilities look a bit old, but not a bit of problem accommodation tax should be paid only in cash; credit card needs to be available for tax payment.
