Location, ryokan style. Small possibility to open window, but then noice from traffic.

Spacious room and really friendly staff. Bedroom was noisy due a traffic road passing really close to the bedroom and train tracks being close, even mentioning they got soundproof walls. I was tired of long walking days and could sleep well but noise was definitely really noticeable and can be distracting during night time.

The room was extremely modern with an excellent bathroom. Comfortable beds and pillows. There were no curtains in the tatami room, which meant that my daughter woke up too early.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The “free parking” which we needed to pay at the end.

Strategic location, It’s a 10+ minute walk to the kyoto station and 5 minutes to nearest bus stop. The room is spacious and clean , their bed and pillow is super comfy. Staffs very friendly and accommodating (+ speaks english well).

Room was a great size and so was the bathroom. The staff took our luggage into our room for us checking in as we had arrived before 3pm so that was a nice touch. Location was great also, a short walk to Kyoto station to allow us to travel about. Staff were also very nice.

Very well appointed hotel and rooms first class, large by any standard and very comfortable. Great location just 15 min walk from Kyoto station. Staff wonderful and very helpful

I loved the ambience of the hotel. I stayed with my grandparents, who can be picky about accommodations, and this was their favorite lodging during our time in Japan! There were some extra fees that came up during our check in, which was a bit frustrating to me.

Hotel had everything we needed and was an easy walk to the station. Very clean and they had our bags in our room waiting for us after we shipped them via luggage transfer from Tokyo Not the hotel's fault but just be aware that if you walk from the station via google maps it takes you on a very convoluted route down backstreets and alleys. What should have been a 10 min walk from the station took us 30 mins in the dark - pretty sure google maps was confused by the overhead train lines. We did not spend much time in the room as we were out and about but if you intend to do so, the windows are frosted so no view. Did not bother us but don't expect an outlook. Very close to the rail line if the bothers you.
