It location is amazing and I loved staying here. It with my top places. It close to train tracks so be sure to have something to cover your ears

Can’t get English subtitles on tv or use Netflix buuuuut the whole point is to get out of your hotel so not the end of the world

The room has a large bed and private bathroom. Razor blades, a comb and a hair dryer are provided. Central enough than nothing feels too far.

Absence of chair even when we asked for it, noise from the street.

The price was reasonable, the room and bed were comfortable, the shower was excellent with good pressure and hot water. It was very convenient having a mini-fridge and microwave in the room and laundry on the first floor. Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. I recommend. And the big window was great. It was a little far out but that’s reflected in the price.

Windows were frosted, so no views. Very small toilet that was in bathroom.

Staff were nice. Room was clean Very far from the station. Breakfast was just a box lunch and bottle of tea. Facilities seemed old.

Sparkling clean, staff on site 24/7, very comfortable. Would absolutely stay again. Everything was fine, if not excellent for the price.

It was cheap and near some good restaurants and historical sites. Fairly easy access to the buses. Had all the basics. The internet connection was terrible, the AC hadn't been cleaned out in a while and dropped dust on the bed, and the company policy is to not hold bags after checkout so I ended up having to haul mine around the city for six hours while I waited for the time to head to the airport.

Clean. Big room. AC working. Good price. Fresh water downstairs available. Laundry room. The location was a bit tricky, not much to eat around.

They should advise in advance of that as I will take just the room without paying extra for the breakfast. Also the whole Hotel smell bad even that they have air cleaning everywhere. The staff are also not the nicest. One day they didn't want to give me my lunchbox and I was waiting for 10min. I opted for not asking for the "breakfast" on the next day. It was really disappointing.

The location was not incredibly far from the train station and it was pretty close to a bus stop. It was also close to two major tourist attractions. The entire hotel had a weird smell to it. It reminded me of cigarette smoke. There were a ton of air purifiers to clean the air so I would bet on the smell being that.

There were mysterious stains on the floor and the blanket, the shower curtain had mold on it.

Everything in our room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing that we didn't like, is that there was a cigarette like smell in the corridors, and also in our room. It improved after the first day of our stay, but don't know what happened or if if it was actually a smoke-Ok room. Anyway, aside from that, we have zome good nights of sleep. The staff was overall njce with us, but it depends on who is there at the moment. In summary, you will be very comfortable resting hwre, more after the long walks that Kyoto requires. However, keep in mind the walk from the bus stops. The cigarette smell in the room in our first day.
