Included Amenities-didn't have breakfast but it looked amazing. Great coffee shop attached to hotel as well. Aesthetic of the hotel Nicely laid out room that was the biggest that we had in Japan Location-close to Gion and Nishiki Market so that we didn't have to go far for great food and drink. A few blocks from train lines if you need to go outside of the neighborhood. mattress was too hard but that wasn't a lone thing as most of the mattresses were harder in Japan.

Nice Western-style hotel, and spacious for the price compared to other hotels in Japan. Good location - a couple blocks from Nishiki market, and 3 blocks from two metro lines and a busy bus stop.

Very good location. Nice design, comfortable bed. JBL bluetooth speaker. Adjoining cafe. Staff helped me book restaurant. Facilities are lacking. It's a bit small. Would have liked to have a gym and bicycles for rent.

The location was fantastic - easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants, yet just far enough from the main streets to be calm and quiet. The breakfast was very good, and the coffee terrific. Even after we moved (preplanned) to a different hotel location in Kyoto to meet friends, we found ourselves stopping by to have coffee and cake on the outdoor patio. Though not extraordinary, the rooms were clean, quiet, and well-appointed. Great service from the front desk staff. There's not much to improve at this reasonable price and great location.

The location was perfect for walking to nearby attractions while maintaining a bit of peace from all the tourism. The rooms and cleaning services were top-notch. We enjoyed having pajamas/sleep sets to utilize during our stay. The pillows were not all consistent in terms of coziness but this was not a dealbreaker for us.

The Rings hotel is new, not very big, and it is quite beautiful. It is situated in the old part of Kyoto so it is easy to walk everywhere. The hotel is beautifully designed. Our room was big, bright, and tastefully furnished with light contemporary furniture. The beds were comfortable. Room service was exceptional. We had hips of fresh towels everyday and on the third we got fresh linen as well. The bathroom was great. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. If we travel back to Kyoto in the future we will definitely stay in Rings again. Only a lamp on the bedside.
