This hotel was excellent. The room we got was huge, we received traditional matcha upon arrival, and oh my god - the shower features! Wow. Great location, a quiet street but close to everything. Down the street, there's a cute bar called Charlie that we really enjoyed. The staff spoke excellent English.

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel in a great location! I loved the restaurants, cafes and bars nearby but the area still felt very quiet and comfortable. Staff was extremely kind and helpful, especially the front desk gentleman (Tariq I believe his name is). Felt right at home! No complaints!

We had such a great stay at this boutique hotel! The bed was super comfy, and we loved having breakfast brought right to our room every morning. The room itself was spacious, smelled amazing, it was VERY CLEAN, and had lots of little thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. The location was perfect, just a quick 10-minute walk to Nishiki Market. 10/10 recommend! N/A

- High humidity in the (bath)rooms leads to condensation and mold in the shower, the ventilation should be checked. - Junior receptionist might need some more training - It was much cheaper to book online via booking.com than directly with the hotel

Extremely attentive and courteous staff in a very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. A comfortable bed in a good sized room with a very spacious shower. The breakfast was delivered extremely promptly (with a ten minute phone reminder) and was delicious. Great location with only a short walk to local amenities, we very much enjoyed our stay here. Thank you very much.

Very well located, small hotel which means low noise and low people traffic Nothing everything was great! Maybe a slightly firmer mattress but that just a personal preference, I enjoy very firm mattress. However, the bed was very comfortable and I had great sleep

A small luxury hotel (5 floors with 3 rooms each) with super friendly staff, EXTREMELY spacious, clean and modern room and facilities, wonderful breakfast served to the room every morning, and the BEST shower room I've ever experienced with 4 different high pressure showerhead options. Absolutely staying here again if I return to Kyoto, highly recommend for a peaceful and luxurious stay.

Really nice hotel . Spacious rooms and bathrooms unlike other hotels in Japan. We loved this hotel . The location is ok , close enough to the subway stops so you aren’t hauling luggage everywhere . But you’ll need the subway to get to any of the sites .
