It was close to the train station Received the same thing for breakfast every day

Very comfortable beds, very modern rooms. The location isn’t that close to touristic stuff but right in between
-
The room was as described and across from Kyoto Station and the Tozai Line. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. A bit pricey
-
Great place, reception has a bar and a very relaxed zone.
-
I really liked it Would like more local japanese breakfast options.
-
Washer/dryer is an all in one so doesn’t dry the clothes well - but the rooms have so many hooks on the wall easily got our clothes dried overnight.
-
Great location. Full breakfast with lots of options. Even has a gym.

Given it was not in a part of town I would have chosen to stay in, it was nice for that part of town (near Nijo Castle & train station). And it was a good rate for an American chain hotel. I did like the "peg" concept on the wall, and did appreciate the refrigerator. Also a couple 7-11s/Lawsons w/in a block or two. Not a big restaurant/shopping/tourist area. it was NOT a quintessential Japanese hotel - VERY BUSY, not calming. Clearly intended for Gen Z. Japan is too crowded, IMHO, to want a hotel that intentionally feels busy & crowded, particularly in the hot summer. I didn't like the fact the "drink" coupon couldn't be used for anything I was interested in (and did not want alcohol or their restaurant's food). The bill was higher than the booking.com rate (some additional tax - even tho booking.com lists taxes in it's rate). Also, while they had laundry services, you couldn't separate things for hot or cold wash or by color.

The rooms are comfortable and smartly organized. The staff is friendly and available. When checking out, we forgot a small make-up bag there, and they even shipped it to us in the next town of our travel!

Clean, modern, nice & helpful staff, good espresso machine, and located near a train station and a great super market. Wish there are more washer/dryer units in the laundry room for guests. There are only 3 units & they were constantly being occupied. We had to wait till midnight to do our laundry.

Clean, very nice, very practical N/A

There were stains all over the walls, carpet and bedsheets. The bathroom was not properly cleaned to the standard of a 4 star hotel. It was not worth the price. The restaurant also has subpar food.

Very cosy hotel, with a lovely lobby. The staff was very friendly. Room was decent in size, but with all facilities. Everything was very clean. Location is great, 200m from the metro and train station, also reasonably close to tourist attractions. The breakfast was too simple for our taste, with only few options. This is why we gave 3/4 for facilities.

Some may not like the location but for me it's perfect. It's on a side of a main road, near main JR station, and only a short bus riding distance will bring you to central Kyoto. The room size is bigger than the normal hotel rooms in Japan. Very well designed hotel. The washing machines are super helpful. Staffs are friendly. Nothing.

the windows are not clear, and it made the room feel stuffy. I also didn’t like how I had to turn off the tv every time i entered the room.

The design was modern and fun. The facilities were clean and the atmosphere was exciting! The disposable razor wasn’t sharp and there wasn’t any shaving gel provided.
-
Laundry room was great, also the gym and the location and bar. Selection at breakfast was not great - I would have wanted more fruit. At check in the staff member was not very helpful. The rooms had no closet space.

Good vibe, easy to access facilities Expensive
