Stay SAKURA Kyoto Nijo Rikyu

Very spacious, great facilities and it was very comfortable. The staff are very welcoming. An easy walk to most places It would be nice to get a few more bottles of water

Clean and spacious room with big beds and good air conditioning. Close Nijo Castle and the subway makes it the perfect spot for tourist. I’m a rather tall guy, and I did not really fit in the bathroom, but that is something I’ve come to expect from Japan.

Location Since the room are small and we asked for three people the add a bed. That made the room smaller and it became uncomfortable.

We spent very little time on location, as we were largely exploring the area for the three days we were there. We had such an amazing time and the location of the hotel was perfect for all the exploring we wanted to do. There was nothign wrong with the place. The facilities were just fine and we felt very safe and secure. Good proximity to several convenience stores for quick morning breakfast and stocking up on snacks for the day.

Loved how comfortable the beds were. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Conveniently close to Family Mart, 7eleven, and a very good looking temple. Only 10 minuts walk to Karasuma Oike station which give you access to both Karasuma and Tozai line. Friendly english speaking staff helped me receive, forward luggage, and made a phone call. The room was clean and have a laundry machine. The bathroom can act as a drying room after shower with built in active drying vent and clothes rail, hanger. Reception is not 24 hours, need to be mindful of your check in and luggage drop time. Luggage forwarding is just a bit more expensive than Yamato, but it's offset by the convenience of all online interaction.

I had a wonderful stay at this Stay SAKURA apartment hotel. The facilities were excellent and had everything I needed for occasional light cooking. I especially enjoyed experiencing a traditional Japanese bathroom, where you can heat the room to function like a sauna or use it to dry clothes. The neighborhood is a nice residential area, yet very convenient—about a 5-minute walk to the metro subway station and around a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. It was a great balance of peaceful surroundings and easy access to transportation. None

there is a live shows place called the nano 2 mins walk. Super recommend to go there It’s pretty far from the night life area,

Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The mattresses, pillows, and linens were cozy. The washing machine and drying function in the bathroom worked well. There were a good amount of hangers to use to dry clothes. Nice neighborhood close to a couple attractions as well as the metro. The reception is closed from 12-3pm which made storing our luggage after check out difficult because we didn’t want to wait until 3pm or later to be able to grab our stuff. There were no plates big enough for cooking/eating food on (although they provide paper bowls). I prefer duvet covers that zip up instead of tie.

The luggage delivery service was very helpful.It was very nice that the air conditioner was already working when we arrived and the room was warm. Overall, our stay was comfortable and pleasant.
